Hi Will ! You can get much faster by staying in 3rd gear on the first corner and stay in the 2nd gear the 3rd corner before the end of the lap. ;-) The title of this video is on point !!!

That was a combination of 20% luck and 80 % smart driving in My opinion, you was not go aggressive and sajter to learn of the other drivers instead of defending against drivers you inre äre faster then you. In other Words: You drove your own race and let the others do the misstakes and that Always pays off. Not ALWAYS as much as this, but still, using 20% luck, you Still got 80 procent luck left for the other races 8) Right? Keep on doing these clips, your an inspiration to us ALL! GREETINGS FROM SWEDEN

Turn 10 high speed turn 2 wide guy hit the grass slightly, t boned to the right and flipped me. That was a wild ride with wrist braking action from a DD. Love road America, fairly easy to learn very hard to master.
@YayDanMan2 жыл бұрын
Good stuff from in that race! Re: 22:05 - that kind of spin happens often when you brake too late so you're still braking hard as you're also turning in for a corner, rear end just gets totally unloaded and very easy to become a passenger
@MorfiusRacing2 жыл бұрын
great driving and entertaining visuals as always with your set up, 😉👍 RD America looks like fun but very challenging track

Good race Will. An easy couple of seconds a lap for you if you brake a little earlier, 75-80% max pressure and release slower.
@boostedmedia2 жыл бұрын
Yeah 100%. I was down to 1:26.3 by the end of the next race. Was slowing up way to much on the apex and getting very slow exits from braking too late and hard here.

One thing I learnt to get me into the low 2:04's which will help you too is that you don't want to be steering the 488 more than ~70ish degree of lock. Anything greater than that is actually inducing understeer and isnt translated well via forcefeedback (at least for me it doesnt) so you may not be noticing it.

Iracing needs to fix the grass factor. Half a tire and it just sends you off as is you hit ice. Whole tire or all 4, normally not a big deal.

Why does the in-race crash look different than the replay? In the race, the car that spun was lifted into the air when hit by other vehicles, but during the replay things looked much more tame.

You don’t want a setup like this unless it’s for content creation. Looking at over $100k for a setup like this one.

How is the FFB compared to ACC… Because ACC uses 400Hz…Need to know it from someone who drives both sims 🏁
@boostedmedia2 жыл бұрын
I’ve always gotten along well with the FFB in iracing. I tried irFFB for a while but didn’t find it really helped. ACC has more he’s up at detail but I get a good sense of what the car is doing in both. I have no idea why some people say they have no sensation of the car’s rear stepping out in iracing.
