I was leaving Blockbuster Video one night (obviously way back) and the Blu-Ray of this was in a sales bin for $1.99. I'd never heard of it but I've spent two bucks on dumber things so I picked it up. Best purchase ever.

The ratio of how good this movie is to how largely unknown this movie is, is pretty solid.

Just came across your channel with your Dune Part 2 reaction and was pleasantly surprised to see you reacted to Lucky Number Slevin! it has been one of my favorite movies for almost 20 years. Definitely underrated. I'll be sticking around for more of your videos!

I totally agree with you. I feel like the Rabbi knew he deserved his fate and accepted it. He didn't struggle he just waited to die. He had it coming to him.

He's a bad man who makes no excuses or justifications for what he does. He understood that "Slevin"-or Henry-had every moral justification for doing what he did, and both the Boss and Rabbi had nobody to blame but themselves. They invited the wolf to entertain their pack of coyotes, thinking him a sheep.

My #1 movie for a very long time. Sad so many people haven't even seen it. Thanks a lot for this great reaction!

I like the mirrored names too - Goodkat , and Slevin Kelevra (which is revealed to mean Bad Dog ).

One of my favorite modern day noir genre movies. Clever writing, great acting, great cast; just all round good. If you want another modern day noir genre I'd recommend "Kiss Kiss Bang Bang", early RDJ movie.

My go-to example of "Rewatch Value", this is one of my favorite largely unknown films. Sad how so few have experienced this treasure.

This film is such and underrated classic. Great Reaction in advance. Also, I'd recommend "Identity" w/John Cusack and Ray Liotta and "Judgement Night" w/Emilio Estevez and Cuba Gooding Jr. (Both films are also classics). Take Care ...
