I was in Iron Station, NC last year and I brought a nice prospecting rig with me. That area is nothing but stained quartz. We found a NC emerald and some gold.

The dirt that you are running came out of the creek and has probably been run before. Everything is salted there. Their equipment is made to make sure you lose gold. Your better off to just highbank a scoop in your own highbanker than to be involved with the wash plant.
@wardboy8143 жыл бұрын
Yeah I always find more gold with my own equipment. But I expect that as well. Alot of people have beat on them highbankers over the years so who knows. I've been to lucky strike. Thermal city and few other very small pay to pay operations and there all good folks trying to make a dollar off of historic gold finds. Its cool and I enjoy it but I do see what your saying. One things for sure. Once u have the gold fever you never stop
@leeduncan58193 жыл бұрын
ran that dirt way to fast and to much water flow

What a waste of time, you could make more money picking up cans on the side of 221. Someone besides you are making money. At least you made enough money to cook out

I hope y'all are getting rich, because you're totally destroying that creek...
@GOWIN81098373 жыл бұрын
Do you know what that creek looked like 100 years ago? Anything WE do mining will not matter.
@s.d.iprospecting4359 Жыл бұрын
Lucky Strike is a mine the creek is fine,no more damage then what mother nature does every time it floods.
@kellystrangelove4 ай бұрын
They don't allow you to dig into the bank. It doesn't look much different than it did 100 years ago. More damage is done every time it floods.
