Being from Nova Scotia and having been heavily involved in Alberta Pipeline Heavy Haul as a lead pilot truck driver and truck push, it's realy nice to see Professionals doing it right. Some of the gong shows I've seen in Nova Scotia with no pilot trucks or pilot trucks all out of position shocks and angers me. Additionally, the asshat 4 wheelers here in Nova Scotia rarely take heed to Pilot Trucks, flashing ambers and "D" signs! But again, major kudos to you and your pilot trucks for doing an exemplary job!

It would be interesting to see the action of the rear most axles as to how it tracks on corners. I love big trucks. My work mate and I ran two 50 ton overhead radio controlled cranes back in 97. We loaded a CAT 793 frame with the engine and trany in the unit. The truck had a similar config as yours. It was a first for that driver and he wanted the unit on the truck backwards. He pulled out of the building to the scale. Too heavy to the rear. Back in the building, picked it up and turned it around for us to set it down. We moved it three more times trying to get the distribution within limit. We got to 300# over on one rear axle and he said he take it. He wanted to get out of Illinois before dark.!!!!!

It was too much trailer but it was also a back haul. Sure beat deadheading all the way back to Canada.
