I think Molly's gender expression would have blossomed after meeting Marion. Molly was designed with they/them in mind, but only went by he/him in the game because of 'only 2 years old'. Marion would have been a good influence and inspiration to Molly, I think.

I'm not sure if this is controversial or not, but the M9 are my favorites. I love Vox Machina, but M9 had such a profound effect on me and my life. Scenes like this almost make me cry because I just want them to be happy ❤️

Everyone is allowed to have their favorites. I'm in the same boat as you tbh, and I've had several people be upset about it. For me, VM is a group of legendary heroes from myths and legends, whereas the M9 feels like a group of people just doing their best. When I think of VM, I think of defying gods and fighting off armies of skeletons, and when I think of the 9, I think of Caleb and Beau's sadness and how it affected them. I think of Veth and Caduceus and their families. Yasha's devotion and Fjord's redemption. There's Jester and her pranks, and honestly, who could ever forget Molly 'Egg-D**k' Tealeaf and his desire to leave places better than he found them. I don't think VM aren't people, and I know that plenty of their emotional beats hit just as hard, if not harder, but they just feel out of reach. Sorry to go into a rant lol

I love how amazingly cozy it all feels as you pull back to a parting shot of the castle. Looking at the night sky and skyline as you hear them talk about the aerator cantrip and then all laugh together. An adventure isn't an adventure unless you have those nights spent laughing together with your friends. The world that those laughs were born in being one of fantasy or reality is completely irrelevant. All that matters is that the good times you spent together and all of the smiles were real.

They look demonic because they are both tieflings, which are humanoids that, due to their ancestors either being cursed or making pacts with fiends, have certain demonic features, which depend on the specific bloodline. Marion, specifically, is of the bloodline of Asmodeus, giving her red skin, horns, and glowing eyes. I won't give away too much due to spoilers, but Jester is... different, which is why she has blue skin and the 'create/destroy water' spell (she uses it when getting into the Gentleman's safehouse in the swamp).
