My mother always taught me: be natural, behave naturally. Everything that you do artificially looks strange. No need to make the whole performanc ; calm, relaxed, and modest manners are more than enough.❤. The video is really useful. Thanks ❤ ❤

So true about Please and Thank you! I don’t hear either words as much as I used to. I believe manners are what grease the wheels of the world. 😊
@LucrativeElegance9 ай бұрын
You've touched on a very important point! Kindness and the use of words like 'Please' and 'Thank you' really make a big difference in our daily interactions. They are more than just formalities; they are expressions of respect and appreciation for others. In an increasingly fast-paced and digital world, where communications can be brief and impersonal, maintaining good manners is key to preserving cordiality and mutual respect. :***

I feel like I am always repeating myself😂.. Another wonderful video.. I am really enjoying this channel.. I remember one of those "ah hah" moments when I noticed a woman walking with her head down and her shoulders hunched...it was almost as if she was silently screaming "Don't look at me.. I'm not important..I wish i was invisible"...It was life changing..From that moment on I ensured my head was held high and my shoulders back ..I now walk with purpose as if I have somewhere important to go and I'm just the person to get there🌹
@LucrativeElegance10 ай бұрын
😂 I'm so glad to hear that you're enjoying the videos and that the channel is making a positive impact on your life! Your observation about posture and body language is incredibly insightful. The way we carry ourselves can convey a lot about our self-esteem and attitude towards the world. Your decision to walk with your head held high and shoulders back, exuding confidence and purpose, is truly inspiring. This not only improves how others perceive us but also how we feel about ourselves. Keep on this path, walking with purpose and confidence. You are undoubtedly the right person to get where you want to go. Thank you for sharing your life-changing experience and for being an inspiration! 🌹

I would add one more thing: if you want to see real elegant manners and gestures, real elegant people, watch the film "And the ship sails on" by Fellini. I was fascinated to watch all those characters whose manners were refined beyond words. ❤❤❤

Saying » I do not ,instead of don’t ..cannot instead of can’t. This way of speaking makes the speaker sound educated and confident.
@pennychrisman32944 ай бұрын
Totally agree❗️. Its because grammar, and English are not taught in schools these days. Sooo...oftimes, I have just kindly said...” you re welcome actually would be better and more gracious.” It seems that response...no problem etc...extends to all across service sectors. And, it doesnt fit....so i try to respond in that way. I feel same way about being addressed as “ guys”. Ordering in a restaurant......” you guys”. So, Being a lady, I say something, nicely of course. A little teaching opportunity!❣️

I agree! The way we communicate makes a difference. Being kind and polite is always important, especially in services.
@c_rose99816 күн бұрын
You don’t use apostrophes or capitalize ‘I’ correctly. So perhaps it would be more gracious and appropriate not to correct people on the way that they speak.

Okay don't cross your arms...that's what i do when i don't know where to put my long arms😩 where do i put them?
@LucrativeElegance10 ай бұрын
It's a common challenge not knowing what to do with your arms, especially if they are long. Crossing your arms might seem like an easy solution, but it's often interpreted as a closed or defensive posture. Here are some suggestions: Let your arms hang naturally at your sides. This might feel odd at first, but it's an open and relaxed posture. :)

Fold your relaxed hands in front of your stomach if you're standing. If you are sitting, fold them in your lap.
@GB970235 ай бұрын
@@LucrativeElegance I like to fold my hands in front of my torso or in my lap. That way, I feel like I have control of my hands, but also have an open body language. If someone comes to talk to me, I let go of my hands and engage in the conversation.
