I'm a sixty -year-old man. The Beatles have been my musical center since I was eleven. Jennifer, your performance has brought me to tears every time I've listened (roughly 30 times). Your enunciation is superb and adds so much to your passionate delivery. I love that you kept the dream-like musical aura of the verses going through the choruses. I read that John wanted to maintain that mellow vibe but knew it would probably be a bigger hit if they went with the rocking chorus. You nailed it, girl! I think John would have loved your cover. I love seeing younger generations appreciate the best band ever. Thank you SO much for honoring this landmark album with taste and respect.I'm wiping my tears as a salute to you.

I have to agree with the comments here. 64 and beatle freak since Ed Sullivan show when I was 8. This was one of the best versions I have heard. I usually get bored with other covers and never listen to the end. You nailed it. Made me feel a little like I did as a kid when Pepper came out.

WOW! I just loved this performance. You have a wonderful clear strong voice and an awesome sense of how a song should progress. LOVED the slight reverb. LOVED how the piano accompaniment grew as the vocal dynamics grew. Then the explosion of exuberence towards the end. Covers are so tough to do as we all grow accustomed to the original. Nora is one of the best Female singers of my lifetime, Linda Ronstadt is my #1 because of her over-all range, from the California sound, to Pop, Rock, Gilbert & Sullivan on Broadway, Mexicana, Standards, and she is the Mother of the Eagle, LOL! (her first backing band included Glenn Frey & Don Henley), Whitney Houston #2 the Greatest promise of all. Mariah Carey, #3 still time to be #1, Karen Carpenter, #4 maybe the best pure Voice ever?, time was short, but, she was Great!, Sarah McLachlan, #5 a female Beatle?, I her a lot of Beatle Piano songs in her music, and Norah Jones #6 Great Musical Genes!.
