I do not wish to compare vocals they are are both lovely. I will say Lucy Thomas to me is the loveliest voice in music today. You can feel the emotion and passion in every song she sings. Nice reaction, even though I don't like comparison reactions.

Lucy is absolutely super talented. Just incredible beyond words. Possibly the best young vocalist on the planet today. It is almost hard to believe that at her age here she was able to hit this very challenging song out of the park. Amazing!

Two young talented singers but there is just no comparison Lucy´s voice is much richer and more controlled .And I have heard Lucy do this live at an even younger age with the same Guitarists Lucy is Just as good live as she is on recordings.

Lucy is totally in control. Nothing happens that she does not want. Just lovely perfection. She was 17 here. She started with singing lessons when she was seven. Studio recording? Sure, but if you had the honour to hear her live you would know that it makes no difference. Some people say live she is better 😀. Putri is experimenting a lot, sometimes with an ugly result. She does not need so much gymnastics. She would do much better with simplicity, rest and style.

Just so you know, Lucy has done a version of this song outside sitting on what looks like a wood peer with a body of water in the background. I think she was a bit younger and she was being accompanied by the same guitarist. I am sure she was being recorded on a portable sound system and she pretty much sounded the same as she does in this studio recording. Yet she was outside and live. What she sounds like live is going to be just as good as she sounds in a studio. To many people compare someone else singing a song live to Lucy singing the same song in a studio and try to use that as an excuse to claim that Lucy is not as good. That might be a valid claim for some vocalist but not for Lucy.

@@N2RAreacts Sadly, I see it frequently in the comment section when a reactor compares Lucy to another artist. Fans of the other artist often use that argument as a tool to devalue Lucy's abilities to try and make their favorite seem superior to Lucy. In Lucy's case, it doesn't work. Lucy has no equal.

Lucy doesn't sound as good live as she does in studio recordings in fact she sounds better ask all of the 500 people who went to her debut concert in Manchester they will tell you how good she was live and how good both her and Martha were when she did a duet with her for a couple of songs.

These artists have the most annoying of fans imo, Angelina Jordan, Gabriel Henrique, & what do u know, Lucy Thomas. Dimash too, I'm sure from the little I've explored of him. Putri Ariani's are usually tame until they get triggered by these artists' fanatics. That's why I really hate these comparison videos. That's why I don't have much respect for reactors who do them. Sorry, reactor. I don't share a nationality with any of these artists, my take on Putri is she's acting her age & having fun with her talent. My impression is she wants to try it all, being a mezzo-soprano, & with the range she has, she can. And being Indonesian, with all the genres just available in Indonesia alone, with over 1,000 languages & god knows cultures, we're going to hear a lot of her from what you call 'experimenting'. She may be blind, but fearless, thats what I admire from her. You can see that from her AGT audition, how she chose the hardest of techniques, & when told by her father it's a risk to sing her own song in the audition, she responded it's the best time to do it. Western singers like Lucy & Angelina play it safe, & stick to what works for em. Angelina does not have much range, so jazz is a good fit for her. I find Lucy too bland, typical of western music. They all have good voices, can't take that away from them. I'm someone from mixed cultures, & I'm open to be served anything, so that's my take.

I think with comparison videos, it's an invitation to create an argument about who is the best with tit for tat bickering. SOME Morissete's ultra fans seem to think anyone being compared to her is some kind of threat. Pretty infantile. For me, I'm just so pleased that we're lucky to have these young artist picking up the mantle from the stars like the ones that have passed and stars the like of Celine, Barbra, Whitney, Mariah, etc. who let's face it, won't be around forever.

Sorry but if you find Lucy bland you haven't listened to the right songs because bland is one thing she is not, her vocal range through low notes to high notes is perfection and she does it with ease. Lucy is heading for the top in her musical career not in mainstream charts but in musicals and Putri Ariani's range is nowhere near Lucy's. Also i'm not a fan of comparison reaction video's they cause people to become keyboard warriors and btw my comment is not me being tetchy about someone else's comment it's just he or she's wrong. 🤣

Lucy’s beauty is only exceeded by her singing ability. I’m not a real Over the Rainbow fan, but Lucy makes everything great. Putri is still a work in progress, but I always give her props because she is blind. I’m glad you didn’t include Morissette in this video. Her fans are the most annoying people around. The only upbeat Over The Rainbow I heard was Loren Allred on AGT Fantasy League in February.
