I agree with what you said about the pencils. I felt they dragged too when coloring dry. It’s my first time using them so I didn’t know what to expect. You have brought me out of my comfort zone in using new mediums. Keep doing what you do I appreciate it very much and love that I am coloring in my books I was afraid to touch. 😊

Good Morning, Lucy! Oh how you have Grown! That sky is Absolutely Gorgeous and is the Best Sky You have ever done! And Yes, You did scare Me! You mentioned that the clip, left a little mark. I always put a piece of wax paper under them. I fold it over the edge, to protect both sides. Just cut a strip, a bit wider than the clip! I'm very happy to hear that you are doing color alongs for everyone and not just for the Membership! Have a Lovely Day!👍💜😊

I finished watching your tutorial and I must say your sky is so so pretty!!! The entire page is coming along so beautifully. I did get to start the first Romantic Country page. However I’m a slow colorer so it’s going to take me a bit to catch up. I feel you are doing an absolute splendid job! I’m really enjoying it. I don’t know how you find the time to do all this as I know you put 100% of yourself into everything you do. Thank you!!! ❤

Lucy!!! Beautiful coloring! I have watercolor pencils but I’ve been too afraid to use them. I think after watching you I just may find the courage to use them. I have all Rita’s books and I’d love to do this double page. It’s fascinating to watch you use them. Thank you for all the time you take and sharing your talents with us. Hugs!!! ❤

Thank you so much for mentioning those that are restricted and confined to handicaps.... People forget that we are the same person inside that we once were. Same loves of nature as well as the missing hustle/bustle. Same drives and Intelligence as before. Same passions. But some of us are not just stuck in the house. We are stuck inside of this body. Please do not discount what we might be able to produce and love, if someone would just help us set up a 'creative area' customized for our handicaps that we could manage. We, being deprived of our art, our passion and outlet, our creativity, just adds another handicap. Lucy, I wish others were as sensitive as you are.

I completely agree and sympathize. I have a debilitating illness that can’t be seen but I know the pain I live with everyday. Coloring is a distraction which gives me a sense of normalcy and satisfaction in my completed pages. I absolutely love coloring and Lucy and her videos are entertaining certainly but they have taught me so much and I am grateful to her. Thank goodness we have our art and I believe that coloring IS an art. Never lose hope and keep on coloring!!!

Thank You Lucy for doing this, looking really beautiful. I am finding this book so difficult, to colour, using castle arts polys, and ordinary Faber castelle, tried other pencils, it's slipping, not going down well at all, looks dreadful and not good. Have tried other pages, same.Think I may give it up. First book by Rita I've got and it's so different and quirky, feel sad about it. 💗
@lucyjustaddscolour-adultco31359 ай бұрын
Oh no don't give up! Have you tried lightening or adding more pressure? Xx
@acolourist17989 ай бұрын
Good news not giving up. Just having to find pencils that work out.To frighten to use water colour pencils, although may give it a go. It's such a lovely book and connects me with old friends who both came from there and had family there too. As usual the inner critic had its field day. If ever you speak with Rita say a big heartfelt Thank You for creating this beautiful book from me. Also a big Thank You Lucy. xX💗
