Love your videos!!! But with that being so old and needing all those parts and o-rings replaced would it not be just as cost effective to replace the whole unit with a more modern one?

Thanks for the compliment! A new filter can cost up to $1,200.00. The materials for this repair cost around $150.00. Most filter bodies can last twenty years. Cartridges can last up to five years if cleaned on a regular basis, every three to four months. And, keeping cartridges clean can prevent a manifold from cracking. Hope I answered your question.
