You didnt mention that luffy has a resilience blunt force attacks and is able to stack Ryuo with advanced concours haki, Deku has gotten insanely powerful in his own right and can be scaled to some of the top tiers in the One piece and naruto verse but I think the minute things like G5 and kcm are used its Ggs for deku. At this point with what we've seen from luffy Idk if deku would honestly be able able to any lasting damage to him.

While I don't find it hard to believe All Might is country level, using the Intercontinental cruise missile punch to get him there isn't very good. It's an attack stronger than anything S&S can normally do, supported by 10 rockets that had her friend going, "We're all getting fired for doing something this dangerous." If you want to scale Deku to it, it makes more sense to use All For Shigaraki, and he thought it would kill him and avoided it.

@@just.a.tanuki danger sense is useless because Luffy has future sight and luffy has counters to precognition like snakeman, luffy will always be a step ahead of deku. As for the soul attack not that would require a lot of assumptions also this worked on shigaraki because of the damage stars and stripes did to him leaving a scar leading to the soul so I can't really rate how effective this will be. Luffy can now go in and out of gear 5 to conserve energy and also use gear 4 attacks in base so luffy can definitely play the long game with deku. Luffy is honestly just a lot for deku to handly even besides pure stats the hax of gear 5 toon force won't even make sense to deku, internal destruction pretty much makes Luffy's attacks very lethal. Future sight will be a very big issue as nothing deku can do will catch him by surprise. Also luffy can also manipulate his entire surrounding

Deku is not a better fighter, sure he has experience but none of the past users are like master martial artists by any means they really just be punching and kicking. With luffy's fruit even Throwing a simple gum gum pistol requires a lot of training and technique, Luffy actually came up with his own fighting style that allows him to adapt to any situation.

Each of the past users have a mastery of there specific quirks being able to inventively use them. So realistically I’d have the back Deku there. Not to say Luffy isn’t a great fighter, it’s rather he’s doesn’t rely on intelligence as much as Deku.

It's like when people compare sasuke to zoro in swordsmanship, sasuke can combine his different sharingan and rinnegan abilities he can use in conjunction with his sword, however Zoro has far greater skill with his sword and sword specific movesets. That's my personal take on it though

That's not skill, just hardwork. Throwing a gum-pistol is just versality. Unlike Luffy, who has his own style of being an unga-bunga rubber man who trial & error's his way to victory, Deku actually studies the fighting techniques of his opponents and thinks of ways to counter them on the fly.

luffy is for sure WAY faster than deku. Kuma did a gatling of lightspeed pad cannons at zoro that he weaved inbetween. and zoro dodges a point blank laser right after for consistency. with that and plenty other laser dodging feats from luffy pre timeskip, so before haki, you can use luffys progression post timeskip to get him to 900 times lightspeed and maybe more if you highball

exactly, take Roger for example. he never used a devil fruit, just pure strength and mostly relied on his Haki, which he had mastered pretty much all forms of it. he was such a major powerhouse that he REGULARLY scrapped with the strongest characters in the series including the strongest man in the world with the power to DESTROY the whole world if he wanted to, the strongest marine who has the power of a literal fucking atomic bomb in his FIST, and the creature deemed so strong that his regular hobby is trying to kill HIMSELF because nothing ELSE could do it
