Besides, Jinbei is smart af so he can tell that this off the wall, animated, white haired Luffy is what he heard about in Wano. What I will say, is that Fisher tiger and Hachi of the sun pirates know who Nika is - so it’s weird that Jinbei didn’t know prior to Wano. He was locked up in Impel down for awhile so there’s no telling if he heard about it or not.

Here is a theory: when Roger made it to Laugh Tale, the treasure was the GUM-GUM Fruit. Since, Shanks was on his crew, that would be how Shanks obtained it. Then made it to the East Blue, and that's how Luffy ended up with the Devil Fruit????
