Rules: Have to open all Chest and kill all Enemies you come across.

Why do you Defend sometimes instead of just doing free attacks to kill the remaining enemies? Wouldn't killing them before they attack you be safer in the long run than potentially taking a hit, even if you're defending to reduce damage?

no, because one-shotting with deadly weapons is faster than hitting with non-lethal damage weapons. you need many hits and turns which takes time. so it's faster to just defend with non-lethal weapons and let those deady weapons kill instantly

This was so hard to watch, not equipping stuff right away and moving dekar to the back row I was like *WHY???*. That and it's suspect how almost every grass he cuts has a healing tile...

grass covering a healing tile looks different. its not that hard to make out especialy if theres other grass surrounding it.
