Mind if I ask - at 7:08 you say that Water ring doubles damage of the Dragon spell, I thought only S-Water ring doubles and the regular ring gives only +50%?

@@Praetarius According to the very elaborate spreadsheet the community made for the Ancient Cave any elemental ring will double any spell's base power. The INT scaling is not doubled though. There's no S-water ring at least in the cave. Maybe that you confused it with S-power ring?

Well, then the spreadsheet is wrong there. Spells load their base value plus caster's int. Then they check for the presence of the regular ring and multiply power by 1.5 for the regular ring and x2 for the S-ring version. Target's mdef is applied after the boost, so that is why it might seem that the increase is bigger than it really is. Sadly there are no rings for Fry, Zap, Perish or Destroy... S-elemental rings at least exist in the regular game, you can wish them from the egg dragon. As an aside, Fake and Trick rings boost both the IP version and the regular spell to x2 their normal effect.

Is there a romhack that allows you to play Ancient Cave with any character as main? Like bringing Artea only and leaving Maxim behind for example.

@@clefable6 Gift mode FORCES you to use Maxim, which is why I EXPLICITLY asked for a romhack that unlocked the first slot. Learn to read the question better before trying to answer it.

I had to stop watching because of the host and the co-host, because holy crap their voices are the most annoying things I have ever heard. The guy running the game is fine, but the other two are just unreal.
