I’m marching & playing in this drill; my junior year at LHS. I loved band and loved Mr Bullock! I have so many fond memories of all these drills!

As a former student of Mr. Bullock, this brings back memories. I remember watching these old films at band camp. I was lucky enough to be a student of his the last year he was at LHS. He worked our butts off and we all respected him for that. He attended my mother's funeral and I felt so honored to have him there. The man is an absolute genius.

I was in Junior High (in the band) when the High performed this drill. I was just awestruck then and even 25+ years later I still love this drill. Band Geek for life!!!

I was a tuba player in the competition Longview High School Band during this time. I love seeing those tuba bells snapping those turns! Great band!

He would be thrilled to know you feel that way. I know he knows about these postings and I hope he logs on to read your comment.

The fanfare they play to start the 2nd half of the drill is called "Espana" but the music after that I am not sure of.

Why did military bands switch from stepping off in the end zone to stepping off from the far sideline?

Does anyone know the march they play after Northwind?
