Great point Meredith regarding the strap. Sewing the straps inside would upscale it. Currently it just looks like an overpriced tote. Thank you Meredith for your honest take on Lug products.

I’m glad someone else feels the same about those ridiculous handle based. They are way too long and wide. If they fix that, I’d buy it.

Thanks. I like watching your reviews. I got it in the light gray (i think pearl) shade. I think it is the perfect size. I like vegan matte leather - looks durable and expensive. I know, the material keeps its shape the same. I do sometimes miss the lightness of my other lug bags. But still this is my work bag for now. It was love at first sight and i dont regret getting it. Glad i didnt get it in black (my go to color) - it really looks nice when you can see the details.

Have you used the Matte Luxe yet? Does it hold onto the rain? It seems like if it got wet, it would take forever to dry.

Oh good question. I have used it... I have not noticed it, but I haven't really gone out in the rain either... so I am afraid I am no help right now.
