I work at a men's maximum security state prison and spent a year working on death row with LITERAL serial killers, and we didn't even have this type of heavy escort for inmates like BTK and the Carr Brothers....and we don't even use belly chains on all of the high risk inmates. The last time I saw this heavy of a correctional or police escort was back in 1996 or 97 when I was at the courthouse with my Mom, who is a judge, and we saw Timothy Mcveigh, (the Oklahoma City bomber) being transferred through our jail. Like this is actually crazy. I work with the most violent and unstable inmates in our state, and we have never escorted someone like this. We don't even have enough officers. Also, where is this kind of energy for all the missing indigenous women or women who have been killed by domestic violence??? Oh that's right, they aren't billionaires. Briefly: company policy equates to nonchalant continuous torture & murder for profit. Legitimately. Case in point: company's business practices (cue evidence... ugh... like everywhere. Like finding CONTRARY EVIDENCE DOES NOT EXIST PERIOD)... company's consistent primary objective is denying claims for profit. - The company's entire "improvement" model is solely based on denial of coverage - that is the objective, period... regardless of medical need, regardless of severity or consequence, regardless of pain caused. Period. See following: 2. Practice is to deny or delay claims including prior authorizations for care. Why?! Because it becomes so cumbersome to appeal their math shows a like 50% drop off by the 3rd appeal. Feel free to research why. 3. New AI claim reviewing process related to medical claims with Medicare is denying at initial submission and review of 90 (!!!)%. 3. Doctors are spending time resubmitting paperwork reducing their availability to provide other patient care & the company gets their own people to argue the need. Ex. In instances, if a drug in the market is cheaper, the company may only cover that... cases include REGARDLESS OF EFFICACY or results experienced by patients. Also, the Dr's have been getting letters not explaining reason for denials, which means they have to go on a quest just to find out wtf they are even being to do to get a chance at the recommended care considered. I forgot what number I'm on. But basically they do not care. At all. Legit endless evidence. Endless bc... it's the primary objective. Death & pain are NOT a part of the equation determining their practices AT ALL. It's the bottom dollar. So, legit as much $ as they can make, regardless of effects, including how much pain & suffering or death caused, wasted time by all, impacts just... period. - Recent study & other cumulative info I've seen reflects ~ 40,000 - 65,000 AVOIDABLE DEATHS/ MAIMING/PERMANENT INJURY/WORSENING OF HEALTH... FOR THE YEAR. So, result is absolutely "oh people are dying... Anyway. So how much more can we do?" - Depending on policy type or where money is coming from ect ect it's been shown that they are AS A MATTER OF COURSE, check this out: (!) Forcing Doctors to add diagnoses to patient records when it is where they get more money from the government by doing so & (2) denying the exact same care/ fighting it for patients needing it per their Doctor’s determination where they will have to pay out
@caryphillips488511 күн бұрын
The CEO made changes personally that were pretty damn awful. Under his watch the company came up with an AI claim denial system that by their own investigation got it wrong 90% of the time. This is the delay that is part of the 'delay, deny, defend' because when it gets it wrong you have to spend a lot of time fighting with them to get the error resolved, and in that time some people will die from having waited.

In respect to the 'jury tampering' concept here, let me tell you what happened here awhile back. A friend of mine was arrested for Murder in SF. He hired a law office who sent to represent him an Asian woman who showed up in sweatpants and a t-shirt at the jail to interview him. He asked her right off how she intended to dress in court and she said, in a pantsuit--which she said was usual for her--he fired her instantly. Called the office and asked for a WOMAN to be sent as a replacement. They sent over a young, red-haired woman. She was, he told me, dressed in a blue skirt and white button up top. Her red hair was pushed up and piled in curls atop her head. They spoke about how she would use her sexuality to help him in court, BUT he did not stop there. The papers and news channels were full of reports (like this guy) of the evidence against him, and he was angry. SO, he called the new channel and told them he would give a jailhouse interview. During this interview, which the news channel aired, and the papers picked up, he told his version of what happened. At his next court appearance the DA was furious. They claimed they would charge him with jury tampering. The judged ruled that what he had done was no difference from what the DA's office and PD were doing by telling the press what they claimed had happened and revealing the evidence they were going to use against him. He won the case in part because since his version of the story was out there to the jurors he did not have to testify under oath and thus his version was unchallenged. Just saying, this guy might consider this path.

Mangione, not Mario. At least I don’t think he has Mario in his name.
@Meanslicer439 күн бұрын
Some of the reasons people support Luigi, is because a lot of things are so suspicious. For example. His "Manifesto"? It is suprisingly small, and we are ONLY recoeving this manefest from the police. No one else. Another thing is that mcdonalds employee that supposedly turned him in. Not only is there a few things strange about it, (lots of people expect some kind of survelience state shit, which i would be unsuprised) Another thing is the fact that people are noticing how unfair this trial is going to be. A LOT of people are already declaring him guilty, and on the other side there is no fair jury that can be found. Either the jury is honest and pulls jury nullification, or the jury is bought out by the ruling class and told what to say. The mayor of NY also went on socials and blatanty tried to call Luigi guilty in ADVANCE of the trial, even the Pre-trial. A lot of the attention around the trial is around the ruling class controling EVERYTHING about this country.
@goodolrainbowpet11 күн бұрын
this case feels very reminiscent of the george floyde case where the judge said the officer was being charged in thay court because there is no where in the entire state where he could get a fair trial and they drove the jury bus through riots that made them fear for their safety and got told those riots were becuase of the officer... add on some jurors got book deals and already said he was guilty before the trial even began and there was no way he was going to be declared not guilty... except this is reverse where it seems people will fear if they declare him guilty so unless he has some massively perfect alibi that makes it so there was no way he could be guilty then no one will buy a not guilty verdict... its crazy and we shouldnt be able to report on names in cases because of exactly this

if you think Canadian and UK healthcare is better than in the US then you obviously are in Lala land like in Canada you have M.A.I.D(medical assistance in death) because it will take to long to treat you(or because it would cause the gov. too much money), also they pay more than we do in the US in taxes for healthcare than we do on insurance and medical bills, we also have a system where if you're life is in danger you have to be seen or for anything urgent and you get it that day which is the reason Canadians go to the us for healthcare. I've known people who had to get their arm cut off because the wait time to check out a infection and get prescribed antibiotics took several months, this also happens in the UK but they don't report it as they aren't allowed to make the government there look bad or have something the gov. doesn't agree with as they don't have freedom of press nor freedom of speech
