I think paper Mario justifies its price because they went out of their way to literally redo pretty much all of the textures and models in the game, including New Text dialogue and included new gameplay features from what they have announced. So I say it's justified. However, luigi's mansion 2 Iooks like they just upscaled some of the textures and made them look a little bit clearer to see that's about it. I think $50 would have been fine, but agian, it's a "Mario Game."

Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD was basically $40 for me, if you are a digital owner you can go to the eshop and buy 2 vouchers for $100 and you can redeem your two voucher tickets on any Nintendo mainline title. so paying $100 for the voucher for 2 games that would be over $120 on their own without the vouchers is worth it.

Paper Mario: TTYD (Switch) had been already confirmed as a remake, not a remaster. While, Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD had been confirmed as a remaster.

all I know is that if they can put Mario 64, Mario Sunshine, and Mario Galaxy in one cartridge, they could probably put both Luigi's Mansion games in one cartridge too for the same price. And my all time favorite Super Mario game is Super Mario Bros. 3. I'm old enough to remember when it was new XD

TTYD is justifiable since they completely redone the game from the ground up and will have new features to it. Luigi's Mansion 2 HD is basically because the movie, since kids loved it so much, parents probably get it for them since its about a character that was in the movie.

I'll be willing to pay for TTYD 60 bucks because buying the original is 100 dollars+. However, I refuse to pay for Dark Moon past the original price of 40 bucks. It's a 3DS game (short, segmented) so it should be treated as such.

while i think no game is worth $60, i think the value it should be worth is dependent on the content, thousand year door is a full game with a good amount of content, but unless they add a lot to LM2, i don't think it'll be worth $50 let alone $60

Great video! You said exactly what I should have say. I am already own Luigi’s Mansion 1 and 2 on my 3DS so I should never buy it again on Switch because I already can play it portable. Paper Mario TTYD I don’t own anymore and it is to expensive to buy for GameCube. So it is the only game of this two I’m going to buy and I can guarantee you that it will also be very expensive in the future like the other Paper Mario games. So I buy it now before it is too late.

I mainly hope at bare minimum that TTYD has more post game bosses similar to what the Super Mario RPG remake had. A boss that tops Bonetail in stats would be cool. The rumored Luigi story that's implemented similar to Olimar's tale in Pikmin 4 would be cool too. For Luigi's Mansion 2, yeah it seems considerably way overpriced unless it has bonus stuff. Like upgraded multiplayer mode; (Which makes me wonder if they're taking advantage over 3DS not having internet features anymore). Bundling Luigi's Mansion 1 into the game sounds like the best justification too.

I think thousand year door is a fine price. It's a remake, so its been built up from scratch. Luigi's mansion shouldn't be anymore than $40. I don't understand why pikmin 1 and 2 is $50, two separate games, that also got the same hd upscaling treatment, is worth less than one game. It better have story mode multiplayer or an extra mansion or something.

Well they did say there is new gameplay content for the TTYD remake, so the only justification for 60$ in that instance is Luigi's Story as a New Game Plus kind of deal.
