Nice work on this hack! I loved Luigi's ever since it was first released and exploring it in new ways is always amazing! Do you think it's possible to make a boss rush mode for Luigi's Mansion?

actually, i wasn't the one who made it. particular mushroom made it, you can find it on his discord. :) the closest we might get to a boss rush mode is to take what we have for hidden gauntlet and increase the ghosts hp and use more elemental ghosts, but that might turn it more into a kaizo hack than anything else. wouldn't mind playing that version though, this game's awesome for something like that outside of boss ghosts :D

Late response, but yes, a boss rush mode is doable. Have specific boss rush cases on each event for the bosses - which the game jumps to depending on the state of a flag - that continue on to the next area boss once Luigi defeats it (I.E. Chauncey -> Bogmire). Although, I think this wouldn't work on a save file that already had those bosses cleared.

late response, but i remember there being someone who was hacking luigi's mansion to the point of luigi walking around inside of e. gadd's areas like where you select the normal or hidden mansion, and the ghost machine room too. it was supposed to be a big new hack, but it was on particular mushroom's discord and when the luigi's mansion channel was removed that guy seemed to leave too. maybe he would've done that. i never once thought of using the actual boss ghosts as the rush lol. pretty sure one could just do it like the training room and make it so each boss goes to the next, clearing them all would reveal a clear time/record/number of clears, and losing would be like a game over that returns to e. gadd instead of the title screen.

it's a mod for luigi's mansion that i played on dolphin. i don't know if it has console support, you'd have to ask particular mushroom about that

yes. it's a small part of luigi's mansion plus made by particular mushroom. this particular bit is only during the late portion of the blackout when you regain access to those rooms.
