So, the Tails secret at the beginning had Tails killed as usual, but if you look closely, it was not done by the normal EYX. Rather, in the lore, EYX split itself into two forms, a Sonic-like form known as Draenog and a Tails-like form known as Cynffonnau. It was Cynffonnau that started the timer and killed Tails in the secret scene here.

The webcam trick is actually scripted by the game. The creators of the game know that nothing is scarier than getting a notification that something tried to access your camera. So it takes that and puts a creepier, yet clever twist on it

I don’t know if any of you know this, but at 11:15 ( jumpscare scene in crystal lake zone ) sonic falls off the stage just before Sonic.EYX jumpscares you. And at 11:22 ( after the jumpscare scene ) sonic is trying to balance himself as if he was at the edge of a cliff ( which likely means normal sonic felt himself falling like he did in the previous scene in the haunted version of crystal lake ).

Somebody should make a game of Majin Sonic, Tails being in a coma/PTSD while he’s on adventures in his own head, The Majin would be talking inside of Tails’s ear and be testing his own emotions to choose different stages for his adventure to think of what is right for him. Some levels will be about anger, loneliness, and fear. For the final stage his hardest battle would be about weakness, On the later stages Majin will be in a disguise of sonic to test Tails, his enemies would be things of what he fear and deeply hates and loves. After passing through all of the psychological stages, Majin will break Tails’s mind of telling the truth about Tails. instead of jump scares it should be multiples of Sonic that slowly distorts to a disturbing hyper realistic like face, saying thousands of loud overwhelming words to Tails. In the real world it was Tails’s friends trying to hold and calm him down while he’s in a insane state, Tails is biting, screaming, and having mix emotions.

Theory 1, whatever this Entity is seems to spare sonic only, SLIGHTLY suspicious, and it's obvious that Sonic and the entity (EYX) are different but have nearly the same body. Question begs, why spare sonic but not eggman? Maybe the two are connected, when sonic got hit by metal, MAYBE EYX felt it. Henceforth the death of eggman. Theory 2, why Ray was pulled down off the stage at around 12:40, why did the hand do it, and who's hand was it? Theory said EYX may NOT have killed Ray, and eyeless Ray is trying to warn tails (the player) to run while He/she still can. Could the others have lived as well if this theory proves correct, is to be determined. Theory 3, the entity at around 13:15 to 13:16 who could this BE, theoretically it'd be RAY, but then we have to consider what if it's in tails head. It could be a tails.exe clone

Theory 3, an add on, why does EYX taunt the player upon dying all 3 times? I'd take the estimated guess to make us DETERMINED to play, but that's EXACTLY why he taunts us. It is his trap if luring us DEEPER into the game so he can torment the characters for as long as he wants, and us player's fall for this trap instead of avoiding it.
