4:04 Crazy but this can actually be found irl: the J-turn is sometimes used on Missouri highways to allow for "left turns" off the highway onto an intersecting road. It has you go straight past the road, then do a U-turn so you're going the opposite direction on the highway, and then make a right turn. Fun stuff.

It's much closer to brainfuck, as turing machines have relations of tape symbols other than that imposed by the state transitions. That means no incrementing, decrementing, comparing without explicit transitions

I think its “heavy traffic” because the point of the language is the puzzle of condensing it to as small as possible with these rules on the 2d plane. You would have to loop the road into previous paths. Otherwise you are just making towers.
