I am amazed at your ability to take things to the highest degree. When I think of handprints and birds, turkeys are what always come to mind. I would have never thought to approach flamingos, but it absolutely worked. Fabuous idea!!!!! I had to laugh when you talked about the KinderJoy looking like droppings left from the flamingos!!!! The can is usually easy to cut with tin scissors or an old pair of scissors. I poke a hole below the top rim big enough to get my scissors in, cut the top rim off, then cut down the seam, go around and cut the bottom off. Do be careful, it can be sharp, you can wear gloves. Then you can run through the die cut machine. Awesome, the edges are not sharp. I love to make the steampunk die cuts and snowflakes. I like to save up different cans and do a bunch at a time, then I have them on hand. My stronger punches work well also. This series you are doing is purely fascinating. In Italy all children eat the Kinder egg. This format is found in winter, my children love it. They should make an adult version of it. This tutorial is beautiful, I never thought I'd use my hands to make a flamingo. The first one on the right immediately looked like a prawn.

Luise, you are always up to any challenge! Very impressive, my dear.💗 Disclaimer!: This can be a little risky. But...I use a can opener, usually the handheld type, to remove the top of a drink can..cut under the rim area. The aluminum(or aluminium if you're in the UK😁) is easy to cut with the red-handled, Tim Holtz serrated scissors. After washing, I use double sided tape to adhere the cut piece of aluminum to light-medium cardstock & emboss with folders or even die cut shapes. It's super fun! I learned about it from Eva, at Bohemian Crafting.💖 I am very clumsy and mal-coordinated.🙄 If I can do it...with little to no injury...any adult can.😉 Though I don't have time to participate in #DEPHEMEREMBER, I really enjoyed your videos, and I have learned so much from both you & Barbara! You've both inspired sooo many ideas in me.🤩 Love and blessings for Happy Holidays.💗💗💗
