bruh nba content creators been wild these last 7 days. saying he’s never gonna get over the hill as he’s a “harden regen” or that he’s just gonna be limited. he is imo the best player in the league not named giannis. i’ve never seen a player like him and i hope i never do, he is amazing.

It's funny many of these so called experts wrote him off before the draft. And now at age 23 they're writing him off to be no better than Harden. I tell ya no one has any patience anymore. He's 23 and they think they have his whole career mapped out.
@renzcustodio2042 Жыл бұрын
@@dk6173 A lot of people says he can't win a championship with that style of play. And he can't make his teamates better. But look at the olympics man he carried the slovenia to their first olympic appearance. He can adapt to any certain teams and what the team is needed just like him winning the euroleague when he's playing with real madrid they become a champion. But in dallas he's required to have the ball more unlike when he's in slovenia and real madrid when he can rely on his teamates. But in dallas there's no one he can rely on.
@renzcustodio2042 Жыл бұрын

I'm so happy that you made this video. Luka has always put up absurd stats, so I understand why some people might not be paying attention to the season he is having, but as someone who watches the games this season is different. I have been telling people that they need to pay more attention, he's different this year, he has leveled up, something special is happening. This video really illustrates beautifully how, yes the isolation stuff can be repetitive, and yes it's been less successful in the playoffs for people like Westbrook and Harden, but Luka is getting his mediocre teammates WIDE OPEN LOOKS on 3s and COMPLETELY FREE dunks and lay-ups. In the video you called it free points and that's the perfect way to explain it, he's not just getting 7-10 assists a night, he's giving his teammates completely free points. His anticipation and court vision is incredible, I must say to myself 3 times a game "I can't believe he's only 23."

Is Jason Kid's plan. He is pushing Luka more to go hard to the rim, creating easier shots for him and, in the case the defense collapses, open to the free man. One day I was wondering why Luka wasn't using the floater he added to his game in his second NBA season, until I heard Jason Kid at a press conference explaining how he pushed Luka to change his game and try to push more to the basket looking for a layup or posting up and use his craftiness and body around the rim to get more +1 plays. This kid is adding and changing his game to be better every season and Jason Kid is trying to get the best out of Luka, but I'm gonna miss his touch with the floater.

5:17 This play. Quick and simple, and a lot of people saying he is slow. He takes the quickest decisions and reacts quicker than anyone when is needed and is the most advantageous play at that moment. When he has to wait and take his time to create the advantage, he does it. This is high IQ, but also supported by quick decision making, and quick reading and reactions. He isn't slow, he could run slower than other point guards in an open court transition, but not slower than someone with his size. And if you are a good passer, a long pass gonna be always quicker than the fastest point guard.

People trashing Luka comparing him to Harden🤦♂️ Almost every possession that doesn't involve him end up in a stupid shot or a turnover.
