yeahI liked that coaches were excited about him ...Nick and esp Doc Rivers (saying Luka might be his fav to watch out of the whole league not just the rookies) they really meant what they said and they weren't too afraid of being formal and polite like the other coaches

If anyone, then Doc Rivers knows very well, what a player is Luka .. In my opinion the top 3 NBA coach knowing who he is dealing with, literally tattooed Patrick Beverley on Luka´s neck and assisted teammates, but Luka v LAC scored 32, 28, triple doubles and so on ... Of course the other coaches, especially in the second part of the season, covered the Luka with the best defensive players and doubled, so it is very indicative that Luka is achieving 5-6 times triple doubles in that period (without 4 players from the first five of Dallas) .. So goood luck to basketball ignorant who pathetically whining that Luka in the second part of the season was "not good enough" ...

VERSE verse People saying how second season is harder than the rookie season and that now Luka will get the NBA defense treatment. 😂 What? He didn’t get that his rookie year? Defenders were breaking their ankles trying to stop him and still couldn’t. This year defenders will have to keep one 👁 on KP to, so that will open a whole new dimension in Lukas game. Hold on to your seats NBA. “The € duo” is coming to arenas across the States. Enjoy the show.

I mean, while you have more power being more muscular, muscles need oxygen and you lose endurance... with a farmer body (like Doncic looks like now) you have more endurance which imho is more relevant in basketball... Luka Doncic certainly reminds me of players like the late Drazen Petrovic and Ricky Rubio. He was my favorite rook this past season. I thought he was by far the Rookie of the Year since day one. For him to play at such an advanced level made him play as though he's played for several years. I think this would make a great debate for top youth basketball players in the USA. Should our elite youth basketball players go attend basketball academies overseas? For example, send some great kids to go to Real Madrid, Stellazzura Academy to polish their skills.
