For me he is the best😍, Južina is tipe of wind in Dalmacija, seaside of Croatia and it makes people feel little crazy, down, depressed...

Not necessarily depressed, more like - I don't wanna (or cannot) do anything, just lay around, being lazy. And a little bit crazy. And It blows from the south (from the sea). As the south is jug in Croatian, therefore - Južina.

It's better to search for meaning of juzina rather than translator. Everything will be much clearer. 😊 Also you're right, he's has a very positive personality. And you can check his 2019 Dora entry, Brutalero. He's a good performer. He defo has my vote this year 🐟🐟🐟

He said "their" meaning "Croatian". Guy who wrote it probably ain't Croatian, rather from some other ex-yu country.

These music elements that you mentioned as folk are more like North African/Arabic, and not Croatian. That’s why it sounds a kind of weird but definitely interesting.

The folk elements come from Dalmatinska Zagora and the instrument used is called "gusle" 😊
@abxyz79717 минут бұрын
@ Gusle as an instrument can be found and is used in Dalmatia, of course, but related exclusively to simple, repetitive, pastoral songs using only few melody patterns (e.g. ganga). And yes, that’s Croatian. On contrary, this song uses other oriental/arabic music elements in a way to create mystic atmosphere which is not a southern Croatian/Dalmatian musical expression. So, the use of gusle doesn’t make it Croatian. I believe that Luka’s intentions were slightly more inventive and cunning.
