Willy and Lukas has gotten me through so many times I never thought I would. I was the angel flying to close to the ground, I died on 02/24/2020 of a massive cardiac arrest in my sister's arms. I was on life support for 5 days no brain activity. My first thought when awoke was Willy's angel flying to close to the ground, then I was so happy to hear Lukas's version, AMAZING that Lukas sounds so much like his dad. God bless both of these wonderful and AMAZING men. Thank you Willy and Lukas, you really did help save my life.

Your Dad was my Mom's all time favorite singer, she got to meet him at Jamboree in the Hills and got her picture with him. My 1st concert, at the age of 4 was Willie Nelson. She just loved music & also loved the song Sound of Silence. She & my Dad sang it over & over while he played guitar in 64' just out of HS.She passed away 2 years ago, at 71 after a brief illness and after her mass, I got in my car and the song playing on the radio was Sound of Silence (Disturbed's version). Never heard it but it resonated to my soul. I knew it was a sign from her. My Mom has been heavy on my mind & heart, thinking about what she would think of these times we are in, and I open up KZbin to find THIS video 1st on my home page. There are NO coincidences. Lukas, well-done! You play beautifully, and I definitely hear echos of your Dad's voice--glad you are sharing your gifts. My now husband, but fiancee at the time, took me to Panther Hall in Fort Worth in the fall of 1968 where your dad was putting on a show--it wa great, and afterwards, he stayed to sign autographs and talk with fans. It’s uncanny how every song I see you play daily is on my playlist. This particular song has been in my head for months. Our world is in trouble. I truly believe in my heart that God is giving us an opportunity to turn back to Him during the Holy of Holy days. I believe in miracles and like Einstein I prefer to think that each day is a miracle. Each person has the opportunity to make a difference in the world. While most of us doesn’t have your talent I’m seeing acts of kindness everywhere. You give inspiration more than you know. Oh Lukas I am listening to this song two years after it was posted on KZbin. But it goes on beyond what was happening in New York at the time of the coronavirus. The way you are singing it is touching my heart. Recently my husband of 43 years passed away in May and this song brings back so many memories. 😢 God bless you.
