Really fun, always like using simulations in different ways than expected. Id say you could get some faster results using redshift scatter objects, plus throw in some particle color to drive your shader. Either way, a great starting point to keep experimenting.

Definitly. You dont get a represenatiton in the viewport but its so much lighter to run

Very cool! Thanks for showing how easy the pyro setup is. Curious why you didn't use RS hair on the spline instead of creating geo

Nice tutorial! One note: could you size up the UI and font a bit when doing tutorials so it's much easier too follow. thx!

@@lukasthorup can we use only redshift licensce version for rendering in cinema 4d 2023 or 2024 version?

Wonderful look. I think I'll have to try and recreate this in Houdini. =)

Nice tut Lukas ! As always helpful. What is way to go with caching this kind of sims do we need to cache Pyro and particle both or just the one of these.
@lukasthorupАй бұрын
You just need the particle cache

I cant find the 'turbulence' tab in pyro simulation (that you mention at 2:50). I use Cinema4D 2024.3.2... any ideas how I can create the cloud effect without it?
@DanDerham-Ай бұрын
is there any way to get this simulating onto a surface?
@nickli682Ай бұрын
TBH you don't need such tiny voxel size like 3cm to let particles read velocity data. sth like 20cm will do the trick just fine.

It makes you visualize the smoke sim better when you're doing the initial setup
