I am a very great admirer of the Tabernacle Choir. This devotional and expressive way touches me and my tendon every year anew. However, I am not a motmone or a follower of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I have been raised conservatively Catholic and believe in the warof of faith (of Christianity) that the Catholic Church or the Lutheran Church has taught me. I do not wish anything, despite everyone who believes in Christ, a blessed and well-kept Christmas. Amen and God the Lord be with you !!!!!!!!

I always love in the scriptures when the phrase "and they were sore afraid" comes up. In Luke 2, a bunch of shepherds were out with their flock, making sure nothing bad happened to them, and a host of angels show up. There are other examples where being afraid feels like an appropriate response.

I always love hearing and reading the story of the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ. Thanks to all who read Luke 2 in your own language. Even though I live in USA, I spent several Christmas Holidays in French speaking countries while a missionary many years ago. I love the gospel of Jesus Christ and His Church and all the great leaders we have and in particular our President and prophet Russell M. Nelson.

This was so inspiring especially to hear these wonderful scriptures spoken by the Spirit in numerous languages. Thank you for honoring those members of our Church where English is their second language. I especially loved hearing Dutch spoken. It was so cool! I don't think I have ever heard it spoken. I finished reading the Book of Mormon yesterday for the first time in my 70 years of being brought up in an LDS home. I testify of the truthfulness of this inspired book and I love our prophet.

"The shepards heard him as they heard Heavenly hosts testify of him." "...whether by mine own voice or by the voice of my servants, it is the same." D&C 1:38 As we hear those who testify of the Lord and who speak for him, we are hearing him; we are pretty much hearing him directly, as his mighty voice carries across multiple instances of his message passing from one person to the next. His spirit and his voice remain present in the voice without being lost in a "telephone game" fashion. His voice persists unaltered and with no power or detail lost, because when someone testifies of him, he comes and testifies alongside them through his spirit. When you feel or hear his spirit, you feel and hear him directly and in full force! "...in doing so, we will find peach and joy amid the trials that surround us" Jesus sees the big picture, and takes comfort knowing that it's all leading up to the best possible scenario for all of us. As we hear him, he is sharing that vision and comfort of the big picture with us. We are more at peace and willing to work harder when we can see the goal ahead, but we can also see the goal ahead when we hear and trust the word of the watchman on the tower, which role Jesus, his prophet, and the Holy Ghost fill for us!
