Nobody has "let God down". But we do sin, we do make mistakes. We can change, though, through repentance and faith on Jesus' Name. He will help us along the path if we have faith in Him. What we need to do is extend our hands so He can help us up when we fall. Then we can stand with Him. Then we must stand with Him.

How the peace and comfort must have overcame her entire being and all of the sorrow and pain within it when Jesus touched her arm. I can imagine she must have been surprised at how quickly she no longer felt that anguish and how fast her tears dried up. I can almost see how her whole entire body relaxed in relief. And then to see her son rise, and come back to life, and to realize that God had sent someone to do this kind of thing for her… this is the kind of thing that would have stuck with her the rest of her life. It brings me to tears.
