I'm currently enlisted in the US marines. This song brings back charished memories that I wish I could go back to. I miss getting stuck in mud and spinning mud on the trucks. I got an 03 dodge 3500 ram. 3in lift things a beast. Miss my kidding days!!!! Don't let the truck tradition die out!

I hope the tradition continues because some of the best lessons I learned was in the cab of a truck I remember smoking weed going to bonfires 🔥 and I’m like MAN I wanna go back to this I’m 21 now and I wanna go back to being in high school doing redneck lift kits aka cutting the wheel wells to fit 35s with no lift

I'm watching the Dirt Road Diary Series now. I've never heard of this guy before, mind you I was a country music fan, however I've chosen to quit listening to country. Country music has a lot to do about family, and kids, and going through infertility at the time, it was just too hard on my heart, so I began listening to rock/metal. Now, after my divorce and turning to Christ, I'm listening to I guess you'd call it "modern or contemporary Gospel". Anyway, I got up to the part where Luke was talking about having a hit song with "All my friends say" and then having a loosing song...so I paused the show and I'm thinking... hell let me be the judge of that. So I pulled up this video on my phone. All I have to say is Luke....I don't know who's telling you what.... but you've got rocks in your head if you think this song is a looser. I don't care what the charts say, this is a number one hit in my book.

CMT just played Luke Bryan's magnificence song "We rode in trucks" that was released in November 2007. This song is the "essence" of country music; that is, it will never grow old. This song, is also the one that revealed Luke had all the characteristics to become a great super star in country music. Also, the Lady playing the violin in this song phenomenal. Attached is the video for your pleasure!!.

There is a really good song called "Buddies". It is track 16 on his new album. It is a really good song. If you liked "I Did It Again", you will love this song. I hope it gets played on the radio, but you can't blame Luke Bryan for what gets picked as singles. The main stream music industry is to blame for that, please remember that.

I can remember all of us sitting in the back of the trucks and this song came on we were drinking beers around the fire right after dark after the beans had just came off and I remember my buddy saying "This is the life, this is what we were raised to do" He's been gone for 3 years now and there's not a day goes by that I don't think of him and what he said that night, it has stuck with me and it will forever. We lost two boys, Cody and Adam, and this will always be their song. Rest In Peace.

Pop country starting coming in 2012 and then he started singing both genres to not make the other artist feel bad, it seems like a lot of them who have sung traditional country in the early 2000s have began switching their style to not make those other artist feel bad

Unless you are someone like Brad Paisley, Justin Moore, Or Josh Turner or someone like that. That's one of the reasons why they hardly receive radio play anymore. Whoever allows these pop sounding country sings to be played on country music stations deserves to be throat punched. I miss the days when you could turn on a radio station and hear good music in the 2000s but now I can't even turn on the radio hardly anymore because everytime I try to hear a country song it's like listening to the same stuff you would be hearing on pop stations it's ridiculous what people have turned country music into

I remember being 15 years old on Beale St. in Memphis hearing him sing this 8 or 9 years ago when nobody knew who this guy was. Some knew he was the guy who wrote the Billy Currington turnip greens song but thats it. Wen knew who he was though because Luke grew up just outside of Albany GA in the country. On a farm. My wife is from Albany so they knew of his family. Zac brown band also from that area. He's been a good ol boy his whole life. Im not gonna judge him for his last few years. I might not like his knew stuff but every now and then i'll go back to this song and think about high school and our field parties driving our trucks 8 years ago.

I got a one ton diesel never had anything in the bed over 200 pounds and never had a hitch in the receiver but I need it to look country and drive it everyday. I listen to today's country music cause it gives my urban lifestyle substance. Hey I'm in an office for 8 hours a day I deserve to feel like a man. Right?

If Luke would return to songs like this -- you know, actual country songs -- then he might contribute something to the history of country music. His recent singles, like "Kick Up the Dust," will be an embarrassment, as they should be already.

The truth is it ain't about where you were raised it about how you were raised. REAL country folk work hard for everything don't ask for nothing unless its our only option we were raised to give not take we respect our elders and have manners we respect all women and protect our woman's honor we don't fight because someone says something stupid we only fight of we have to.

I haven't been able to find the original 'I'll Stay Me' album, the CD version, but I intend to. Need to find my own backroads in Baldwin county, Alabama

born in Mississippi, was raised on a farm and lived near a small town. I'm a totally country girl. a Girl who prefers to be around horses and hay. not in malls and spas. instead of driving a fancy convertible I drive a truck. and believe me I Love It!!!! Where i grew up we drove trucks.I Love this song because it reflects My lifestyle and how i was raised. I left my home for 4 years to go to college with my closest friends but Man i was so homesick I almost didn't make it to my graduation but I did and the Second i did My girl fiends and I came home rent a house in our small town. I realize that the life i lived its the life i want to continue. its my soul and my heart that is a country, and i'm Proud of who i am!!! this is Such as amazing song!!!!

where I live it is!!! nearly every family owns a truck. I've gone muddling a millions of times with my friends. we make easily life long friendships from the time we were 6 years old . we know our neighbors and help each other out. bonfires happens a lot too there nothin' better that hanging out with your best friends after a long hard working day in the sun.
