How do you play with the toms so flat. I'm self taught and have never watch anything on form at all and when I try to set them like that I always rim shot...
@babycarl95198 жыл бұрын
well you want to hit them as flat as possible to get max rebound n stuff. So if youre playing lars ulrich style and put them at a 50 degree angle , you probably suck ass.
@babycarl95198 жыл бұрын
***** It does. The stick should be almost parallel to the head . like Jojo Mayer said .
@babycarl95198 жыл бұрын
Well. I get your sound thing . but you still get the most rebound out of it.
@babycarl95198 жыл бұрын
He was great , but now he sucks.
@babycarl95198 жыл бұрын
Yeah , he did well with metallica , no doubt . But AS a drummer all in all , hes way too famous , considdering his Skills.

@SuperUltra13 жыл бұрын
@TheOREOswagger Well, that's what a lot of people think, but if you use a very sensitive setting for the trigger, there's a very high chance that even a snare hit will trigger the bass kick, so people who use triggers don't just 'tap'. It's called double triggering, where any vibration will set it off, even if you don't want it to. Triggers are used for cleaner sounding double kicks because above a certain speed, if the bass sounds muddy, it's gonna sound like a really long fart.

are you seriously telling luke what to do?
@xNecropolisx10011 жыл бұрын
Umm no? haha I am just saying his foot work is a little off tempo. Let's be reasonable here. I usually watch like Alex Rudinger covers, he has precision. Lukes' cover just left a lot to be desired, for me..
@xNecropolisx10011 жыл бұрын
& I'm not like trying to discredit Luke though, his Born of Osiris cover is solid.

@rocker24bb42 Go to the ddrum website and look for the trigger collection. They're like clips that go on the drum head, right at the rim. They have to be hooked up to a 'brain' module where you can adjust all kinds of settings, from the sound that it triggers (hence the name) to the sensitivity of the trigger.
