My dad's mother was from Austria (or at least her parents were Austrian), which I think is why we always said "Gesundheit" instead of "Bless you" when I was growing up. I've pretty much switched over to "Bless you" these days, so it was doubly hysterical to me that not only did I respond to a video, but that "Gesundheit" is what came out of my mouth!

Eventful week. Luke just gets cuter every time he's on camera. That sneeze though. If I had an emoji it would be face with heart eyes, he's too cute. I've got a nephew at eight months old and it takes a village to raise a child, let alone just family. But it's worth it when they smile at you and they are generally just being them. I'm just Auntie but still its a family bond.

I am a new viewer as of April, when a small friend introduced me to your Harry Potter fan theory videos. I liked them so much that I went back to watch all of Super Carlin Brothers from the start, and I am almost caught up. The best part of being almost caught up has been getting to start watching this channel, too, because when you got more structured I missed the casual interactions. My favorite part of this channel is getting to see how well your family loves and supports each other--like you and Beth sharing in parenthood with such excitement, giving each other time to exercise, and making each other bagels and other breakfasts. Watching this video in particular, I thought, "Oh, Beth is NOT going to want a camera in her face first thing in the morning...." I'm with you, Beth! No matter how much others love us, some very special aspects of being family do not need to be shared with the world. :)

Watching this super late, I know, but I totally agree with the eating issue. My son is a month younger than Luke and I realized I am so focused to get him eat regularly and healthy, that some days it is 4 PM when I realize I have not eaten anything yet except two cups (mugs?) of coffee. It counts as food, right? Also, supercute sneeze.

Living away from family is super hard! The first 7 months of my daughters life we lived 4 hours away from my in laws and 6.5 hours away from my parents. There was no one to watch her when I just needed a nap or a shower by myself because my husband worked a lot. I was super lucky though and made some awesome friends who were more than willing to help out with Sophia. My mother in law even came down for my birthday so I could go on a date with my husband!
