I'm happy this is just a regular person, not someone who sells a program for recovery. I'm having a prolonged setback and was beginning to wonder if anyone ever really got better, if maybe the only people saying that recovery was possible, were the people making money on it. Thank you, I needed this 🙏🏻

May I comment that I’ve only partial recovery after doing all the necessary things like taking supplements, dietary change, sound therapy for immune system, TCM treatment, light exercise & positive emotions. Still, I am grateful for the improvement. Hope all get well soon.

Wow. What a great interview Raelan and Luke! I really enjoyed the thoughtful words of wisdom you shared in the last 15 minutes. Your interview will have its own ripple effect of helping others on the road to recovery from this illness! ✨ PS. I remember a car racer guy messaged me back in 2020 (looks like it was you! ha) and you were in a rough place but were getting some inspiration from Raelan's amazing channel. And think I brushed you off! But you found what worked for you and you made it to the other side! So happy for you. ✨

Thanks Luke and Raelan for sharing! I can only repeat what Luke said. Interviews like this and your channel are amazing and one of the very few resources when it comes to specifically ME/CFS that I get into. Getting away from the "disease" groups has been important for me too. I was constantly stressed and reading a lot of negative stuff, spending much of my time and little energy scrolling down and achieving nothing positive. It was also very hard to see people being so caught up in the supplement and diet area, not questioning their resources, falling for bogus information, which is frequently further driven into their beliefs even more by various experts on ME/CFS and due to how their conventional doctors treat them. Been there too and when I get worse and have a very bad day, I find myself getting drawn towards that again. I think that we need to realize that many experts out there have a bias towards finding the supplement or medication or genetic therapy or so that will help everyone. That's their passion, their field of expertise, in which they do the best that they can and with which they truly want to help, but they may not have the right tools or mindset to look at the big picture, thoroughly assess a person and suggest the appropriate steps. Love and strength, Thomas

Thank you both for that amazing interview, it's one that resonated with me at my stage of trying for many many years, but not finding the right combination as yet. I'd like to ask Luke about the Lightning Process ( I have trained as a Hypnotherapist and undertaken several Brain Retraining Programs already) if there is something fundamental about this process in particular which makes it different and perhaps worth another try for me? Raelan, so much great information again and even more links to things I've not seen yet, thank you for being there :)

I think the problem with the Lightning process is not (only) its bad reputation, but the price - it is really expensive. And when you have severe ME/CFS you can't work and therefore have a very limited amount of money. And btw: I recently heard a medic talking on the news (in Germany), that they are all totally overwhelmed with Long Covid and don't know what it is and how to deal with it. I really had to laugh (and cry) as this is total rubbish - ME/CFS exists for so long now - you just should have paid more attention
@ripcell
@ripcell 2 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately it is expensive for many people, and being out of work makes it double jeopardy. It is a tricky one for them as a business, do they drop the price and get more people through it, or do they keep it where it is and make sure that the service they do provide is very thorough. Hopefully the positive, to pull out of the negative here is that with the likely high number of people struggling with CFS that some more research and understanding might come out of it, unfortunately I don't hold my breath, but we can hope.

Also I want to say to anyone reading this, if you read about the mind body connection you will realize using brain retraining does not at all mean it’s all in your head. There’s a strong connection to illness from the brain. If you look at Joe Dispenza testimonials you will see how the brain is healing cancer. It can heal literally any disease. No such thing as mental illness or physical illness it’s all illness and if we look at the mind and body in this way people would get more help to heal. I’m experiencing brain fog so I hope I explained this correctly 😂
@ripcell
@ripcell 2 жыл бұрын
@@stephg4273 You are exactly correct, the brain is a powerful thing, it really is the master of the body. It is the biggest tool we have in our health, and unfortunately, poor health at times. I think if you can master your mind you will overcome many illnesses.

For many of us who can’t afford the lightning process, is there a few techniques you can share to help us get started because if it doesn’t work then we are out of another $1500 but if it does start showing help and I’m sure we will do whatever we can and borrow money from family and friends to finish the course and buy it… There should be some type of pre-purchase exercises to show if it works for us kind of like try it before you buy it instead of having us to blindly commit $1500 something we know very little about! Thanks!

Any advice on brain training for me/cfs paired with ADHD? Not only am I a perfectionist, but if I don't complete things before getting distracted, I will never remember to do them later. I'm extremely anxious about forgetting to do things, especially when it's important things I do for myself or other people, and I really try to do all I can because I'm very slow to do them, always have been. My obligations and my hobbies are dropping like flies! I'm perpetually filled with disappointment, and punishment, as I run out of time to do things, because I have to do them perfectly, NOW, before I'm distracted, and before brain fog tucks them away into the void.

What about people who are severe with ME. None of these things seem to help and how do you have the energy to follow all these diets and Therapies. I think there are two types of illness Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and ME. If you are confined to bed or a wheelchair you would not have the energy or be well enough to follow special diets or therapies. ME and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome are two separate illnesses.

I am glad you have recovered but you did not have ME you had Chronic Fatigue Syndrome like a lot of the recovery stories on here which is an entirely different illness. No amount of special diets, affirmations, telling your symptoms to stop three times is going to change ME. It is a Neurological disease which goes through relapses and remissions.
