Do you have a link? I remember he did change his skin color for skits which is 100% not okay. He would dress up and play all his characters - they all were made to look silly. It wasn't just colored characters that he played that way - every single character was over the top. If I remember correctly, he came forward and apologized publicly about playing colored characters - saying that he wasn't aware that blackface was a racist thing or the past surrounding it. Not defending those videos - they were wrong point blank period. I myself, honestly didn't know the history of blackface until Shane was shamed for it. I think it could be possible that he was just unaware and uninformed. Also, my views on the pedophilia remarks people drag him for - it was a dark humor joke said in a Podcast. A joke made in bad taste. He busted all kinds of joking during that podcast. That was one. Context is necessary and I think a lot of drama channels miss the mark in reviewing exactly that.
