My wife and I camped at little qualicum falls back in 1988. A beautiful spot indeed, close to Qualicum Beach, Parksville and Coombs. At that time, it was located next to the E & N rail line to Port Alberni (now abandoned) and was a great place to hear trains passing.

Hi guys, by adding a receiver hitch to the front of your vehicle, you can push your trailer into the spot instead of backing in

2:10 mark: Horseshoe Bay ferry terminal has 3 different routes operating from it. As you arrived, it was the Langdale (Sunshine Coast) ferry that was unloading its traffic. Hey, welcome back to Vancouver Island. I look forward to seeing this series of videos. Cheers from Nanaimo :)

We had to find something fun to do after the USA and what better than the Island again hey! Still would love to do all the little island loops you guys have down in Washington too someday though. Hopefully now with more border luck we can do more shorter stints across the border. Living on 4ish hours to either end of the BC border we would have lots of options but just have always been hesitant to plan around border approvals. We'll see! Cheers Lori 🙂🍁

Good job driving on & off the ferry - we’ve driven our car on ferries, but have never towed on. I lived on a boat for 30 years, but ferries ? 🥺
@LukeandAlysha2 жыл бұрын
It was pretty straight forward just a cozy little squeeze making sure you line it up all right haha. Boat life sounds pretty fun though! When I was a kid my family took a multi night boat camping trip out near Vancouver Island and I still have so many memories of it. Maybe someday we'll do something like that!🍁

Guys , just watching the video now and noticed that it sounded like you travel with your propane turned on. This is a big no no, not only dangerous but it could also void your insurance if there's an accident. Please take care and have a great time on the island.
