To this day, this is the video that opened my eyes to all it takes to make works go from mediocre to amazing. Shed light on how anyone can sell you on any trending brand model or gear, but yet how little it truly matters. At the end of the day, you could spend big money on the best gear and still not produce great works. Great works come from the man/woman behind the lens. Whether it cost them $300 or $3000. (Not that expensive gear is bad by any means, just want to clear the air there...my takeaway is don't feel that you need it. You can still do amazing work with a Canon 60D or in my case a Nikon D80. Especially starting out in photography. The person creating the art can make simple or great tools bend to their will and artistic nature and style)

Hardly bloody fair, ebay was watching too! $277 body and lens was the best I could find. I was just checking on on your behalf of course. I don’t need a 50D although it would nice to have one to play with, I have a Canon G12 which does well enough. Great video and so true. Not about the gear and practice is really important. No excuse now when you can see the result so quickly, not like the waiting and expense of learning with film, that was costly.
