I have been one of your constant listeners in your podcast's last two years. Can you imagine that last week I was interviewed by a panel of three British people? They told me that I speak a British accent asking where I learn or if I had been to the UK. Power of listening. Thank you, Luke.

Hi Luke I "discovered" you a short time ago, and since then I listen to you every day. Even on some sleepless nights I put on the episodes I've listened the most (like the three-hour mega ramble about Paris, the elephant bird and your delirious text about the Chatelet station) to distract me and finally fall asleep. That's wonderful, even though it might sound like your podcast is good at making people fall asleep!!! No, quite the opposite. Because it's so pleasant, it boosts my mood, and allows me to recover my sleep. Few things do that, so I have a lot to thank you for, Luke. I subscribed to your premium programme yesterday, but I haven't tried it yet. Well, I'm glad your son was born healthy and without problems. I hope you're getting through these early days of parenthood without too much stress. I send you a hug, and thank you for being such a good English teacher, and above all such a nice, humorous and witty person.

Hello teacher Luke! At the end of the episode 57:29 you mentioned something about the spirit you want to bring to the podcast and how hard to do that when you are alone in front of the camera etc. and I just thought I should tell you how fun and entertaining your podcast is!! Next time when you feel that why just remember that there are people like me treat your podcast as their favorite series or TV show. So I think You succeeded to the point that made me watch your episodes for fun. Thank you and have a lovely day.

hey Luke~ I have been an avid listener of your good podcast~ When your podcast was "not loading" in China, I was quite sad actually. Now that I've got a stable VPN, everything is back to normal. I am also elated to learn that you will have a son too, congrats! You know what, I like your podcast so much that I even named my second son after you. I hope he will grow up to be somebody like you, spreading knowledge and wisdom using his particular set of skills. BTW, in Chinese culture, yours is the most blissful family one can ever expect, because you already had a daughter which in Chinese is a "女", and you will pretty soon have a son which in Chinese is a "子", the combination of these two characters results in "好", which means "great" and it is pronounced as "hao(third tone)". Ergo, yours is the kind of family being envied here in China. Best wishes to you and yours. I will keep on listening to your podcast voraciously and also recommending more people around me to learn from you. Thanks indeed!

You suggested your podcast but since my English listening is poor I'd like to turn the auto subtitle on and listen and watch to you at the same time!!! Also its very fun to see your pronouncing lips and your face expressions, I'd prefer the youtube video rather than just listening to the podcast!!! Hey, Luke, I just cannot resist 😅 hold my beer, I’ll tell another “rushing” joke. Once a friend of mine went to an English language school in the uk for several weeks. And one day she and the other students from the school had an organised tour to a museum. My friend would fall behind the group from time to time as she was really impressed with the museum and was eager to look closer at everything and so on. Then the guide who was leading the group went to her saying “I hate Russian, too, but we do need to stay together as a group”. My friend was in shock “why do you hate me?”. And then he had to explain the whole “Russian/rushing” thing 😂
