Oh Emma, I don't know why I let so much time pass between watching your lovely podcasts. I always come away with new inspirations for projects to try and books to read. So far I have queued up the video for the book mark; decided to turn my abandones fingering yarn into a blanket; ordered the Embroidered Crochet book, and have been over to Wool Warehouse and ordered a project bag and notebook for a dear friend. I am currently working on a summer top, with the hope I will get to enjoy it a few times during our short Canadian summers. Congratulations on fifty episodes, I hope there will be many, many more!

I have just come upon your blog the other day. It is very enjoyable, I love your style and color choices. You have some great projects. I am working on quite a few right now. The past year I have been making shawls, so I have 1 going right now along with a granny square blanket, another baby blanket, wait, I actually have 3 blankets going, one I’ve been working on for awhile. I would really like to try your bunting pattern from a couple years ago though and that corner bookmark . It is nice to have a couple fast ones. Congratulations on your 50th episode, I would definitely like to be entered in your drawing. I really like the pattern on the bag and notebooks. I’ve never had a proper pattern notebook before. I think it would be so much better than just trying to add little pictures to my notes. Well, enjoy the weather and your flowers!

Many congratulations on your '50th' episode! I have really enjoyed every one of them. I know it takes a LOT OF TIME to make them, so well done you. At the moment I am on the home stretch of crocheting the Harbour Blanket by Attic 24 (thoroughly enjoying that), also a cross stitch picture for my in laws DIAMOND wedding anniversary and lastly just started my June cross stitch tree hoop decoration. So a bit busy at the moment! I do not know how some crafters have multiple projects on the go! I think I would get all 'A FUFFLE' ! XX

Congratulations Emma on your 50th podcast! I really enjoy watching them. You have a lovely style, calming and interesting. This week I actually finished my Persian tile blanket. It is the second one I’ve made, I love the pattern. I really enjoyed working on the blanket. Currently I’m working on the Magic Circle blanket. I’ve finished the circles and am working on the joining. In the meantime I am also experimenting with crocheting some squares. And I just love the crochet bookmark that you made, I am definitely going to have a go at that, it’s a great idea for Christmas presents. Keep up the good work, next stop 100!

Oh what a lovely episode, again! Absolutely adore the crocheted bookmark, such a wonderful idea and they look so pretty too. Your granny squares are so beautiful, such calming shades of blue. I always become totally enamoured with granny squares in summery colours, as soon as the weather becomes warm and sunny again. I just love those instant bursts of happy colour and enjoy experimenting with different, random colour combinations to find unexpected, beautiful results. I have finally got around to squaring off, with cream yarn, all those many, many crocheted three coloured circles I made during lockdown, to make a rather joyful blanket. I have also edged all of the three colour hexagons I crocheted during lockdown, with cream yarn, which will hopefully be joined together this week to make yet another fabulously glorious blanket of many colours. Those little circles and hexagons were a much needed source of colour therapy, at such a strange, dark time. Crochet can bring such joy and solace, even its most simplest form. Take care 🧶🧵🌷🌼

Thank you Emma for another enjoyable podcast and congratulations on episode 50. I really appreciate the time it takes to prepare and produce, so thank you. I am currently working on a cream, navy and grey granny square blanket and realized some of my tension is off. I have had to undo some of the squares. I think your explanation in this episode on where the yarn sits on the hook may be the cause. I hold it like you. Anyway it will be ready for autumn. Also trying a top down knitted jumper! Enjoy the lovely weather and the garden. 😊

Thank you so much! I often forget what hook size I’m using with blankets which has led to some strange size changes - that and I think my tension gets looser the longer i crochet 🤷‍♀️ nothing a bit of blocking can’t fix though! I’m sure your blanket will look beautiful xx

Hi Emma. I love the lacy bookmarks. Usually white yarns, even in the same yarn, are slightly thicker than the color versions of that yarn, because of the dyeing process. The shirt you're wearing is beautiful. Takes me back several years to the past and brings back memories. I usually lean more towards creams rather than bright white. I am currently working on several projects, participating in a few CALs. Wonderful items you're giving away and I would love to have a chance at winning. Thank you and congratulations on your 50th episode.

I love those bookmarks you've made! They're so beautiful and you are absolutely correct, they would make splendid gifts. Your forget-me-not squares are beautiful too. Blue and white/cream is one of my favorite color combinations. I've been knitting a bunch of socks and working on knitting up a sweater top. But I've been itching to try my hand at a crochet garment! Congratulations on reaching 50 episodes! 🎉🥳I agree with you, the print on the bag and notebooks is so pretty! I would like to be entered in the giveaway. Thank you!!

Congrats on your 50th! I just found you today and find you charming. I am currently working on a shawl in a shell stitch, in bamboo yarn (such limp, finicky yarn to work with, but drapes beautifully). It is a rose-beige color. Hope to be finished in a few days, then onto a blanket I am close to finishing up. I’m in the US, and just got my veggie garden in, so gardening will be cutting into my crocheting time, but I live for my fresh garden tomato sandwiches!

If using DPNs hurt, then it could be arthritis. I couldn’t use dpns anymore now. I simply use magic loop or better still is two fixed circulars. Do listen to your body. When it aches and pains, we need to take a break 😉 and continue another day. That’s what I do usually.

Congratulations on your 50th podcast episode. Love to watch your podcast. I am currently working on a Springfrost blanket (attic 24),. My daughter has just given birth to my first grandchild so I am knitting little cardigans which I am loving... I am a new knitter so each one is a learning curve. I have just ordered the lovely embroidery crochet book you shared so looking forward to that. Thank you. Would love to win the give away.... ❤

Congrats on 50 episodes! Love the bookmark, am going to try to make some as well. Finishing up on knitting socks (someone ordered 10 pair of socks). Not keen on doing that again. Looking forwards to going back to knitting things for myself without any pressure. Looking forwards to your next episode. 🧶🌸🌺

Congrats on 50! I am working on my first cardigan made with Jarbo Cookie in the colourway Meadow. Thank you so much for the giveaway; I would love to be entered. I actually own the Persian Tiles blanket kit and it is on my to do list for this year. You've now tempted me to get some of Janie's other lovely things from Wool Warehouse. They have such reasonable shipping to Canada (where I am). Thanks for another great podcast!

What a wonderful milestone to celebrate! Since I have started watching your episodes, you have never failed to inspire not only my crafting at large but also my reading and cooking! I promised myself to have a go at the crocheted bookmark which would be the ideal companion to an old copy of a Wilkie Collins’s book which I picked up for a dear friend’s birthday! You have created your own atmosphere and style and I always look forward to your next invitation popping up on my KZbin subscription list! 🥂🎂

I'm not currently working on anything because I've just moved into a new place, but I've a crochet blanket on the go for quite a while. I've recently finished a pair of toadstool socks from Stoneknits and then I want to do the blooming lavender socks from Stoneknits also. I love the bookmark and want to make that for my daughter. Have a lovely summer.❤️
