I looked at several other versions of this on YT & came to the conclusion LULU had an slightly out of tune, borderline scratchy voice in places. But hey in those days inline voice sweetners were decades off!

Actually they used sweetening on records back then in the 60's I remember a female singer from then talking it but I can't remember her name!
