Thank you this. For Mac users I don’t see the point of this feature. Either use Airdrop, or save to Photos on your computer then you have it synced across all iOS and MacOS devices. Sometimes I really wonder about the direction Skylum are going, I wish they would concentrate on improving core features and not changing the program and feature set every year.

Could not agree more with you…new CEO each year? Bring back the one who gave us Flex!

Glad to see your video. I would not go to the trouble to use this when I have air drop which I use all the time

I find it strange that you can't save to the camera roll. I wonder what their thinking was behind that. At any rate, great walk through! Well done!

You can but you' first need to create a suitable shortcut and add that to the iphone share menu

Hope other NEO adds are of more use than this. Or possibly this will be updated to a more useful part of NEO.

Maybe this is the beginning of them eventually having a mobile app that edits too 🤞

No surprise that the app doesn't work very well.

Just curious. Is there any point to this if I use Google Photos synced to my computer/mobile?
@MattSuessPhoto3 жыл бұрын
Only if you want the photos synced direct via your Luminar catalog instead of the extra step of using Photos then moving it to your Luminar catalog after that.

Will the share app work on a iPad Pro?
@MattSuessPhoto3 жыл бұрын
Yes - I just confirmed that it does work on the iPad Pro. I had to disable the ethernet for the first connection just like I had to with the iphone.

Matt, Luminar Share has been working on my Windows version of Neo and allowed me to transfer files from my Pixel phone to Neo as well as from Neo to my phone. After watching your video yesterday I tried sending an Olympus RAW (orf) file to Neo thru the Share app. The file was around 11MB and sent fine. I opened it in Neo and all the Exif data was there. I briefly edited the file and saved it as a jpg. Unfortunately I am now have an issue sending the edited file back to my phone. The Share app still lets me transfer files from my phone to Neo but is now stopping when I try to send from Neo to my phone. I am not sure if this may be related to the fact that I upgraded to Windows 11 the other day or not. I don't think so however, since it worked yesterday on a jpg file. I will contact Support re this issue, but the main interest in sending this comment was to let you know that in Windows I was able to send a raw file and that file opened as a raw file in Neo and did contain the Exif data.

Glad to hear the report Nick - I would assume this connection will only improve.

I use Samsung Flow which is a damn sight easier to use than the new NEO app it also uses Bluetooth when there is no wi-fi! So the new NEO app is nothing new at all. Just hope Skylum develop the app to include photo editing etc, etc.

It doesn’t work, can’t connect to either my windows laptop or Mac desktop

Ughh sorry to hear that! They did update the iOS app the other day - make sure you have the latest.

Seems pretty pointless, far easier to share between iPhone an Mac via Airdrop

Pointless app. With so many ways to move photos around, I didn’t need a Luminar app before getting Luminar 5, umm, Neo.
