Appreciate it. There is atleast one other that I know does, but not in the way that I do. New mod video coming either this week or next.

Hey, great video. Got a few questions: - Warding Gleam: can the elemental resistances go over 100%? In vanilla game the only way to go over the 100% cap is by either using Leadership, potions (i think) and Demon/Ice King talents. - Pierce the Veil: does "penetrate" mean "ignore"? - Crepuscular Wall: does it block the vision for ranged enemies such as archers?

Your questions definitely had me intrigued so I had to do some excess testing this morning. Warding Gleam: Yes, your resistance can increase over 100%. Pierce the Veil: I tested this ability on Marg the Troll in Act 2 (who is 150% resistant to Fire). I cast this skill on my pyro, who then hit Marg with a Fire Whip. The Fire Whip did normal base damage even though the troll has high resistance, leading me to believe that if the enemy has a positive resistance value it sets it to 0%, and if it has negative it increases damage. Crepuscular Wall: It does block projectiles, and I tested this a bit, but only if your character is within about 2-3 meters of the wall. Otherwise, it can be shot over with both a bow and crossbow. Some straight-shot magic may be able to pass over at increased distances, but less likely the closer you are to the wall.

Looks cool, i am only always worried with these mods that the balance is out of whack, but cant tell really

Very fun mod, lots of skills to experiment with. Some of it can be a bit unbalanced.

is this class weaker in the early game or something?my damage seems to be really low compared to other classes,is that because you dont get any weapon scaling spells from this class?
@Lebensmude Жыл бұрын
In my prior experience, the class has been overall strong but might lack in early game without more spells. It gets much better with more spells, as you can better utilize the Prismatic status. Damage increases with higher Intelligence and higher Luminary skill. Edit: You can also get a light-damage infusion spell by combining a Luminary book with a Warfare book.

@@Lebensmude yea i guess i was just surprised because im used to skills scaling with weapon damage and the stat itself, ty for the info

Just started using it yesterday! It feels a bit slow but not too overpowered, I reckon it's gonna be better during the late game
@Lebensmude2 жыл бұрын
It definitely picks up a bit more mid to late game, but the abilities make it completely worth the time. They’re so diverse toward the end.

@@Lebensmudesuper duper late reply, but how do you make the craftable the spells? Do I need a blank skillbook for Luminary? Because si far I haven't found one.
@Lebensmude10 ай бұрын
@@tidaloctoling715 Nope, just need to combine the eligible spellbooks (i.e. Luminary + Warfare).

Not related to the mod, but why are your character portraits foggy?
@Lebensmude2 жыл бұрын
To be honest, I'm not quite sure. Possibly a UI bug, I had it on a clean playthrough without mods too.

@@Lebensmude. You are the only person I have ever seen with this situation with the portraits.

Can I download this mod without steam ?
@Lebensmude2 жыл бұрын
The only other place I could think of would be Nexus, but if it’s not there then more than likely you would need Steam.

Way too many attacking skills, personally I would have made it a healing tree but that’s just me haha.
@Lebensmude2 жыл бұрын
I can see your point, since some forms of light magic are primarily related to healing. But in DOS2, damage is king. If you can do more damage and eliminate enemies or control their turns, you win.
