Hi Guys,
In this weeks video Jimmy M looks at two Panasonic Lumix cameras for around the £200 mark (second hand). Both of these could be considered travel/street photography cameras, but there are differences worth noting.

Owned them both. I still have the GF7. Great camera for selfies when with friends, because of its size. Sold the GX7 for EP7

EP-7 is a beast, love the internal color grading even for video.

I believe the GF7 has 1/500 max mechanical shutter; the electronic shutter is 1/16000. I have the GX800.

Nice video but it's very hard to hear the difference between Gf and gx so it's kinda confusing

Good point ! Title (description) on the screen would help. Maybe, intentional so you need to watch it 5 times ??

Nice video 👏 A couple of days ago I was looking for a 12-32mm for my gx9 and I've found one, it came with a gf8 (practically a gf7) Both lens and camera in mint condition, and both for 160€ although not sure if I needed the camera, however for the price I just couldn't resist. The camera came today, I'm impressed with the size! I thought my gx9 was small but it's huge compared to the gf8. Like my phone the gf8 probably going to live in my pocket from now on 😄

I bought the GX7 when it was new and i still use it for travel to work (Oil platform here in Norway) Used my GX 7 at the Maidan in Kiev during the riots there and when Russia attacked Ukraine the first time. My main camera now is the Canon R6 MkII + my older and very well used 5D Mk III. GX7 has a great built quality
