I had problems with figuring out so many things on this machine and have talked to people that provided it to me and they sent me diagrams and had originally set it up for me but when I got it home it was a little while until I started using it and forgot just about everything they had told me about it. I was getting so frustrated. Speaking to them on the phone and them sending me the diagrams did not help one bit, but your video explained everything so clearly. I also had watched a different one from someone else and that did not help me either. So thank you again!

@@CPAPmyway so that pt didn’t take it. They were in a resmed before and it felt too different for him to tolerate but a brand new pt to bipap was just fine with it. Finding out that those in resmed/respironics don’t like the ibreeze, feels too different to tolerate

Thank you so much for a detailed video about the usage and setup. How to make QR+ code as the default code. Every time QR code appears on the dashboard it is no use, as I need QR+ code to get my usage to scan with my iPhone.

I have the older philips cpap bipap machine. This looks to be a great machine but I did not hear anything about adjusting the airflow for the unit. can this be done. Right now I have airflow at 25 in and 20 out. if you have suggestions this would be helpful thanks

Yes it can be adjusted to Ipap 25 and Epap of 20. It is a great bilevel.

That is the camera where the government watches you sleep..... HAHA! Just kidding. I am pretty sure that is a light sensor to determine ambient light of your room and dim the display accordingly. Thank you for the feedback.

Why is my Luna provider sending me a thin white filter patch? I see no mention of it in the video.

You can use that in place of the black foam filter. The white ones are disposable, and the black foam ones are washable. Just depends on how you want to do your maintenance.

couple of questions: is there a pause feature for potty breaks? Can you warm up the humidifier without starting air flow to the mask? The humidifier stops warming in the middle of the night when unit is set on auto humidifier. Will it continue to work all night on one of the numeric settings i.e. 1-5? When in use on the ramp mode, when taking a deep breath there seems to be a flap or the like that restricts a deep breath, Is that normal? TIA Harrison

You can preheat on that model, I am fairly sure. In the patient settings menu. You can put it in manual mode 1-5 and it will provide constant humidity setting. There should not be anything restricting your air flow. Sometimes the ramp pressure can feel too low for users that are accustomed to full pressure though.

Thanks for the informative video. I would recommend adding a comment to download the 3B Luna QR app from the App Store and scan the QR code from the machine from inside the 3B app. Scanning the QR code with a standard QR reader app can result in credit card fraud.

I have the same unit. I just started therapy with this. I keep getting water in my hose and it’s making a gurgling sound. My wife has had to get up in the night to literally empty out the hose because it was gurgling and keeping us awake a little bit of water in the mask, do you know how to fix this? Thank you.

Thanks for the video! Do you know how the G3 compares to the Luna II? I know the G3 is a bi-level, but the II has a Reslex feature that lowers expiration pressure and is about half the price of the G3 so I'm wondering if it's a better deal for a mild apnea patient like myself. Much thanks!

The G3 is just a smaller, lighter, and more feature rich unit. Additionally, once the G3 is fully out you can pretty much guarantee they will DC the Luna 2.

Ramp time is the time between the "starting pressure" and "therapy pressure". Starting pressure is usually much lower than the therapy pressure. It allows the CPAP user to fall asleep at the lower starting pressure and then the unit will gradually increase to the therapy pressure.

Are there any features on this that will replicate Resmed’s Easy Breathe ? Had to add the S/T for the backup rate and was switched from a Resmed Aircurve 10 to this machine for hypoventilation- the easy breathe feature made a huge difference and I’m worried this one will be a hard transition

The comfort settings are pretty similar. Different trademarked names, but similar operation. Let us know what you think of it after getting going.

It's my second day of using Luna g3. With every inhale I take in the machine makes a noise and then I exhale the noise reduces.. It's like the machine is also breathing.. Is this normal ? I have used resmed air sense 10 that was pin drop silent .. Please advise is there anything I can do ?

You will hear the machine breath with you, so to speak. It probably should not be quite that dramatic of a noise though. Are you sure that it coming from the G3 and not the tube or mask?

I have been using my machine for 2/3 months now and still getting used to it. I have the full mask so my issue is keeping from getting the tube wrapped up in my sleep. Sounds like a bad cord on the tube. It should be replaced. If that doesn't do it, then it may be an issue with the plug on the BiPAP.

You can not have an EPAP of 1.5 on any bilevel that i know of. For sure you can not on the G3.

I had this machine for 10 months and all sudden when you turn on, it says reading SD card. I left it on for 24 hours incase it was trying to read the SD card . Nope the main menu still doesn’t come on. Normally, the main menu comes on with all the functions. Could this mean my device is broken ? Please advise. I will also call Luna.

I would say that it is indeed broken. It will have to go back to 3B for repair or replacement. It has a 2 year warranty though.

This machine costs about 330 USD when on sale and 600 USD when it is not back in China, where the manufacturer is located. Meanwhile the Sleepstyle costs about 2300 USD and never on sale. Same with all other imported machines. 😅

This kind of product are CLASS-2 medical equipment and highly regulated and needs a license to sell it here.
