Luna was probally the strongest character and the best. She could be bullied but she wouldn't care and would still do whatever she wanted and even if she was left out or was outcasted she was still happy. She is also strong outside of the Harry Potter series the actor who played her was casted because she had an eating disorder and the only reason she said she wanted to live was to watch and read Harry Potter. Then she met JK Rowling and JK Rowling offered to let her be Luna if she got better in time. And she did.

I love Luna😊 She is my favorite character in the Harry Potter series. In fact in my high school there is a girl who in fact looks like Luna Lovegood and beyond that, she even acts like her! She protects the animals around our school like a mother which Luna does! I want to talk to her sometimes but don't want to bother her as she seems to like her alone time. I'm just at least glad that she is there to protect the animals since I love the animals dearly to.

I love Luna's kindness, intelligence, & creativity, but wouldn't understand her optimism (I'm a pessimist by nature, & COVID doesn't help matters). THE COVID PANDEMIC GIVES ME NARGLES IN MY HEART. @@WizardingWorldshoppingchannel Speaking of detachment, I wonder if getting dementia might ease some of my suffering. Lack of awareness of trauma makes it LESS PAINFUL. I believe that's why children are so cheerful; because their minds are less complex. No, I don't wish I was still a child, because too much was expected of me. But I won't be sad if I get premature dementia, as long as I remember my favorite music. And I have pics of my loved ones & BFFs, so I won't forget them. But I've had such a hard life, & the shootings & COVID have made me want my memory to be less functional. PTSD happens to me frequently. Even as a child, life was hard for me. I was bullied. And a woman I crushed on was murdered by her psycho ex-husband in 1994. And then all the shootings & 9/11 & bombings & more shootings & now COVID. I have always been easily traumatized, by my personal life as well as global events. And the ISIS terror attacks in England have upset me just as much as domestic terrorism, since I love England so much. But COVID is the issue now, not violence. And it is spreading & turning the whole globe into a war zone of sorts. I can't stand it. I just want to cry, & cry, & cry some more. Sometimes lack of awareness IS a respite from suffering. I'm sure 1) small children & 2) adults with dementia suffer less with COVID-related anxiety than older children, teens, & neurotypical adults. Sorry if I am annoying you with my rants. Even George Weasley wasn't able to cast a Patronus after losing Fred. That's the fictional equivalent of PTSD & I can relate to it, big time.

My father died of dementia so I know the burden the disease places on those around the sufferer. Also, he didn't seem to enjoy the process of losing touch with himself and those he loved, so I don't think you should wish it on yourself.

And with COVID going on, my parents could die, & that scares the...stuffing...out of me. Can we please agree to disagree? Even Dumbledore got on my nerves when he said that there's nothing to fear from a dead body, & that death should be accepted. I don't want to accept death (neither mine nor my loved ones' death). I want to let it make me unhappy & stressed out. Dementia is not a good thing, but having to accept death is, IMO, lots worse. Please don't be offended.
