The new 080 lounge at Bengaluru airport is quite a departure from the old one. Featuring multiple spaces suited to accommodate diverse needs of the modern traveler, from relaxation to entertainment, even a whiskey and cocktail bar in an uber swanky VIP restaurant with 24-hour a la carte menus! I caught up with the airport’s f&b ambassador Chef Abhijit Saha for an in depth walk through and lunch that featured an assortment of world flavours.

@@FoodLoversTV Abhijit’s Caperberry was $$$$ (lot of fond memories!). Chef Dominic was Leela Bangalore’s head chef. To get their food at lounge with just a credit card is massive discount!

I totally agree with you Kripal that the kempegowda international airport in Bangalore is the finest and best in india, though till recently I was backing my Mumbai airport as the best but overall I will easily say kempegowda is the best what I love is the drive to the airport the scenery outside is awesome 👌👍🙏✈️💐😘😊

No doubt Bengaluru airport is best in India, but problem is it's not in Bengaluru, one have to spend Additonal 700-1k to reach airport, I agree buses are there and they will reach you within 250 but sometimes time is not convinent.

080 lounge is an excellent one. Luckily, they accept a few types of premium cards like Amex platinum reserve, Diners club, Priority Pass, etc. Hence, there is a less rush. You can get a seat to eat here. Food wise, it is good

This lounge is probably the best in domestic airports in India. Really admire the chef’s thoughtful ideas into designing the menu and the layout of the lounge. Really loved it!

I'm a regular user of this lounge. There was a rapid fall of the quality of the food. It's pathetic now. Also the number of dishes also decreased and there is no use even if you complain.

Very nice journey through 080. Whiskey counter is eye catching. Unfortunately, always on the rush towards departure lounge. Probably, be at least 4 hrs earlier to enjoy

The secret recipe lies in the right proportions of the ingredients used in the delicacies. When Kripal Sir tasted the delicacy, these ingredients behave on his tongue like the fingers placed on the keys of keyboard and as a result of that we can here very good vocabulary from his mouth. The humbleness of recipes,tartness of the fermentation and the spicy punch of the chillies all plays different notes on his tongue 😉

No questions this is one of the best lounges. But i heard food safety way too many times. hope somebody from the lounge looks at this comment I have photos of houseflies on the breads/ cakes I have seen people drink water in the plastic glasses and put it back only for someone else to pickup same glass and drink from it. Cross contamination? They should see how the veg non veg pizza is prepared and handled. They seriously need to rethink where the plates are placed. Need to change water glass dispensing and collecting. Again, despite all above observations, would still say this is far better than the other lounges.
