Lunch & FUN at O'Sheehan's on NCL Breakaway

We are back at one of our favorite spots on the NCL Breakaway for lunch... O'Sheehan's Irish Pub! Jason has the wings of course, and I get the pub burger which is sooooo good! We also decide to spend some time playing all the pub game which are so much fun!! We started out with a game of pool, then another round of bowling and finish off with darts! Did I mention that this is the beginning of our bar crawl???

Met Joao on either the Getaway or Escape, super nice guy. It was the cruise before the Margaritaville opened on the ship and we asked to see the menu while lounging just outside. They were having a soft opening event, he brought us two signature drinks and a giant nacho dish.

I think the menu is larger outside the bar area in O’Sheehans and in the actual restaurant area. We only ate in the bar area once, after we found a larger menu inside.

This is so fun! Tasting all the foods we would not normally eat when on land is so much better at sea! i.e. crepes! O'Sheehan's, really nice spot for a quick, delicious bite or breakfast! Watching this is making me so tempted to book another NCL cruise real soon! lol!

Good video. You bring up a good point. Cruises don't have bar crawls on them! You would think they would do it since it's extra $$$. I'm 34 and typically sail solo so it sounds like it would be fun and like a great way to meet people.

Tonic water is another name for Quinine, and Quinine is a treatment for malaria, which is transmitted by mosquitoes. Tonic water/Quinine will NOT stop you from being bit by a mosquito or stop you from getting malaria. Interesting trivia. Most mixed drinks use a non alcoholic ingredient to make the liquor component easier to consume. Gin an tonic is the only cocktail where the liquor component is used to make the non alcohol ingredient easier to consume.

We love OShehans. Love their fish and chips and the hubby likes the shepards pie. Cant beat good pub food for free 24/7. Cant wait to see how The Local will compare. On the Bliss 2/23 and that replaces O'Sheehans.

We were on the BLISS this past February. We had a FANTASTIC cruise! We loved O'Sheahan's on their other ships and The Local, as far as we found, was just new in name only, with more seating, minus darts and pool table.

I have my first cruise scheduled on this ship out of Miami - 7 days. Beginning October 13-20, if I recall. With the number of bars, it seems that this ship is alcohol-centric. I’m still going on the cruise but is every cruise line so centered on alcohol?

Every ship will have a lot of bars. Cruise lines have a high profit on alcohol. But don’t worry, there is still plenty to enjoy if you don’t drink!

Im trying to choose a cruise line to take my husband on his first cruise. Would you recommend NCL or Carnival? My 1st cruise was carnival and i found i got bored. My husband is military and was on an aircraft carrier for 6mths to a year. Ive finally convinced him to go on cruise.
