🍔 Lunch in Cape May On The Jersey Shore At Mermaids On The Beach For A Crab Cake Sandwich & Fries!

Hello Jersey Jeff Eats Foodies! I've been recording some Jersey Shore videos for my other channel Nu Yawk (see the link below), and decided to have lunch on the beach while recording a Cape May video! Cape May is known for it's Victorian Homes, quaint shopping areas, restaurants, resorts and it's beach. Today I'm on the Cape May beach visiting a very casual restaurant called Mermaids which is right on the dunes. I ordered a crab cake sandwich and some fries. How was my late lunch? In Rockaway Beach, New York City, we used to have a Wendy's right on the water; you could order your meal, and go right outside and eat at a picnic table. Oddly they went out of business. They boarded up the back and put up a Dunkin' Donuts and you can't access the inlet. You could eat on the water after buying a $1.00 Frosty. Incidentally, in New York City, they don't discriminate on ocean front property. There's both expensive homes and low income housing and apartments, all ocean front.

There's a Christmas in Cape May video on the Nu Yawk channel. You can see the inside of some of the Victorian houses all decorated. Christmas is my favorite time of the year for the Nu Yawk channel.

I like to take a long shower as well. Are you a bar of soap type of guy or are you a shower gel type of guy ? I myself am a bar of soap type of guy. My favorite brand of bar soap to use is Dove.

I guess thats what they call an editing happy accident. Thats what happens with a video each day while working FT. LOL! Ill be going back to my slower schedule in the Fall ... hopefully with fewer happy accidents! BTW ... I know you missed my commentary!

@@JerseyJeffEats I think your videos with commentary on the hotel rooms are a lot better than way back. Tours of hotel rooms can get old fast and you make them interesting. Of course, you point out the iron for warming grilled cheese sandwiches, so I tune in for these "Budget Traveler" moments. I also like your 'bring along an adapter or electric outlet' on cruise ships if you have a lot of electrical things to plug in.
