I like smoked ham and/or boars head rotisserie seasoned chicken breast, couple slices of bacon, cheese, and onion. I heat up the meat on a griddle pan, make the sandwich, then cook it like a grilled cheese. When it’s done I pull it apart and add mayo with salt and pepper!

So glad I found y’all!!! I live in North Myrtle. Have you ever tried The Shack in Cherry Grove? They have daily lunch specials that are southern cooking. Meat and veggies. Also have seafood and sandwiches. My personal favorite is the Fried Green Tomato BLT which comes with PIMENTO CHEESE. Get the sweet potato waffle fries with your sandwich. You can’t go wrong with anything really. If you go for breakfast and like sausage...YOU MUST try the Country link sausage. Thank me later.

My husband is a sandwich fanatic...and with him, it starts with the type of bread he decides to use. He will only eat certain lunch meats with a certain type of bread. So particular... By the way, made Mr. Bunkey's spaghetti pie the other day and it was a big hit with everyone.

If you like turkey sandwiches, you should see if you can get turkey with sundried tomato in a deli. We don't have Publix where I live, but Walmart deli and another grocery store chain where I live carry it. It is amazing.

Oh I love turkey swiss blt...that turkey sounds delicious for it too. I'm with Bunkey. I really hate a dull sandwich but love a great one. The adventure to find the best sandwich never ends. I saw a toaster hack today. This person turned their toaster over on its side and slid the bread and cheese in the slot. That way the cheese won’t melt and run down in the pop up toaster. Now I haven’t tried this but you may give it a go

I’m from Pittsburgh and our famous sandwich here comes from a place called Primanti Brothers, it has meat and cheese of your choice that is grilled, then they top it with vinegarette coleslaw, tomato and fresh cut fries. It is served on thick cut Italian bread. You and Bunkey have to come to Pittsburgh to try it it’s so good!

I’ve been getting the boar’s head honey maple turkey from Publix my entire life! It is hands down the BEST deli meat! If you wanted another recommendation from there I love the boar’s head everroast chicken breast on sandwiches too ☺️
