YOU REALLY NEED TO GET A 3D PRINTER. Then instead of spending $60 a piece on those rings, you could just print yourself as many as you need. And there's a new 3D printer that's either out, or coming out soon, that can 3D print with metal and PLA at the same time. I would recommend the SNAPMAKER 2.0 to start with. Someone with your "mental capacity" (heehee. LoL. JK) will find it much easier to use than most of the other ones on the market. Hell I'd even come down there and help you get it set up and working, at my own travel expenses.

Zeroing at 200 is ideal, since any target closer than that is still "zero" and anything further away will always need dialing or holdover. You should be zeroing any cartridge at 150 yards, minimum... Except pistol-calibre rifles, 100 yards is perfect. Rounds still gain a slight bit of elevation past 100 yards, which fucks with your DOPE. But I'm sure you know all this already.

I mean, I guess that depends on what you consider “zeroed”. A 77gr 5.56 will be about 3” high at 125 yards with a 200 zero. It’ll also be zeroed at 25 yards as well so between 25-200 it will hit high.

Get on paper at 25 yards....go to 50 take shot do a micro adjust...75 then 100...should only take you 5-7 shots to make a ragged hole at 100...pending trigger control etc etc. reset your turrets to zero from that point. then work your way out. prob is people chasing with their scope winding it left to right starting at 100. equivalent of lighting your wallet on fire by the time you get it figured out. and a small error at 100 is a huge error at 1000.

I think its highly probable that the periscope optic had something to do with the point of impact shift! I would be interested to see if when you take that periscope video optic off of the scope there's another shift in impact. AirArmsHuntingSA is a you tuber who hunts is South Africa and is always using scope cams for his high power rifle shots and his high power air gun hunting, try finding out what he uses!

I know their light and the engineering is pretty sound... but I'm not completely sold on the carbon fiber barrels. Seems like they need more cool down time in between shooting as well as not as many consecutive shots before an extensive cooldown period. I'm sure there's variations in different rifles. But from what I've experienced and seen, I'm just not sold.

The weight of the camera set up would pull ur scope enough to effect range. On the back left it pulls the front of the scope high right so ur hitting low left

Hey Lunkers. You should check out the software Scope Knob. I shoot field target so air rifle 10-55 yards with an 8 grain pellet moving at sub 12 ft lbs (rules). I have to use a parallax wheel to calculate distance which doesn't apply to you but you can print your yardages on a tape that is perfectly sized to your scope, moa adjustment ratio, and number of clicks per rotation. If you are shooting at a known range your tape will say whatever your dial is that you have written down, i.e 800 - 9:1, 1200 +1,1:2, whatever format works for you. The loop my shots take within 55 yards, with wind gauging is known as much as the ballistics for your round wt. , power load , barrel twist rate and bullet shape. Its way easier for me to just check my dial and spin it in a competition than to check a pad. The program will also adjust to whatever is wrong. If one of your dials is off, redial and mark correction. with just 2 known distance corrections it will correct all the others. You'll probably never see this, but maybe someone else who shoots will. Hope to be able to apply it soon to actual long distance with a real rifle.
