Lupe seems so much happier now. He had this stint of depression and darkness which was so sad, it's cool he seems so alive again.

You're right, I'm interested to see how Lupe is going to make music while he's feeling good about life. During that time when he was feeling down, he put out some of the greatest music of all time, so it would only make sense that he makes more of the conscious uplifting songs that we know he can do. Mannn Tetsuo & Youth is going to be classic. I really feel like he's going back to his F&L roots on this one.

Harnoor Singh not necessarily. the music landscape is littered with artists who at their lowest point in life, drug-addicted, drunk, bad relationships, etc, make some of the greatest music b/c of the raw energy and emotion behind it. then they sober up, find happiness and their music loses the impetus of what made their classics masterpieces. I do hope you're right though! F&L and The Cool were a cut above everything Lu has released since. would be nice if his nx album rivals his past greatness.
